Goan Style Sweet Mangane | Konkani Sabudana Chana Dal Kheer | मनगणे मनगणं | Traditional Authentic

Mangane is a traditional Goan Kheer made from chana dal and sabudana/sago. Soaked chana dal and sabudana are cooked in coconut milk and jaggery till soft to yield a perfect after meal goadshe (sweet dish) "Mangane".

I loved eating this godshem ad a kid at my friend's house during the Ganesh festival. Will try it. Can we substitute the coconut milk with dairy milk?

No, you cant replace coconut milk with dairy for mangane. For Ganesh chaturthi, we make another godshe called payas(pice) with rice & milk. Will upload that recipe soon. Till then do try out this mangane recipe. You will like it😊❤️
