I love Arleesha! Her art is so great.
I think the last one, with the three hearts looks cute, but has potential to be even more stunning. Maybe keeping it a "traditional" rectangle shape and adding some dried flowers, I believe it'd look pretty awesome!

Awww! Thrilled to see Peerless watercolors in this box. They are a family owned company that's been around since like the 1880s. The paints were originally developed for hand coloring b&w photos
I can't just choose one, they're all adorable. Adding the finishing touches really did make them pop!

As soon as you took the painting out of the box I knew it was Arleesha’s work. I love her style.
I loved the first cat with the blue and purple. I got lost in imagination looking at the designs it naturally made. It looks almost like jungle mountains towards the top left with a waterfall pouring down from the top middle to make a white river with jungle trees poking out from the right. A whole scenery. 💖
These paint cards look SO cool, but I have seen a lot of artists complain about how messy they are... really brilliant creating your own little "pallet" and swatch card for them! I am so impressed by how pigmented they are and the art turned out so vibrant and pretty! 🥰
My favourite kitty is the dark and light green one with the dark green flowers on the right side! They're in my favourite greens, with lovely composition! That new paw style is also really cute.
I really like this idea for bookmarks! The ones with watercolour plants within the cats' shapes are my favourite 🤩

These are very cute! The paw one is my favorite.
They're all really cute in their own ways! I always love rainbows and space motifs, but there's something about the ones with hearts in the center that really draw me in. I also think shimmer/metallic art supplies are fab, so I fully support you bringing them out for that little extra something every time!

I really love these little bookmarks. So cute and simple.
The peerless water color sheets are very interesting and fun to play around with. I’d always recommend a color chart especially with these sheets as a lot of the actual pigment/colors look vastly different if just comparing or going off on just the sheets.
I will say they do run out pretty quickly, but still recommend :)

Great video, I have a friend who teaches children here in NZ, she encourages the children to read and after three books they get to pick a treat out of the treat hat, thinking i will make a few of these bookmarks (maybe do a few cute monsters) for her bag, such a great idea.
Yeah the homemade pallet was a good idea. I don't like the mess it leaves behind.

I love the peerless watercolors, I you search on youtube there is a video that shows how to tape them into a photo album book to make them easier to use and it was the best advice!

Arleesha's channel is pretty awesome! Arlee's Opera is a color she has been developing in collaboration with Peerless for a while. Scrawlerbox is the only way to get this color at the moment.

WoW These are so pretty, simple but so pretty! I love the last cat one and the paw. Haven’t been able to make art over the past days due to a migraine caused by the hot weather and sun. I’m going to try this tomorrow, something not intensive. I like the sheets of watercolor, so colorful

Ok, this was a GREAT video. I absolutely LOVED LOVED LOVED your diy palette. Genius! I have a couple of these peerless paint sets, they are messy but this idea is excellent. Love watching your videos but I swear you really hit it out of the park for me with this one. The kitty's were adorable. Perfect flowing figures.

cat bookmarks are so cuteee
The bookmarks came out so charming! I have always been intrigued by that type of watercolour (and wow those colours are gorgeous) but I worry about their fragility
I paint everyday, I wonder how much these would last for someone like me who uses they watercolours everyday ? I always see videos about the coulours and quality of them but nobody ever mentions their durability
That would be something very helpful
I know this is an older comment, but wanted to share my experience. I got a set of these in a subscription box a while back, and also made a mini-palette by taping 1 inch squares onto a board. With those little squares, I was able to paint a detailed 5x7" (around 12x18 cm) with lots of color mixing, though I was scraping for any leftover pigment on a couple squares. So, if you're painting every day, especially at larger scales and with color mixing, I don't feel like these would last very long. I think I read that they were initially created to be cut up and dissolved in bowls of water, therefore used in more diluted tones as large washes, which is why they are so concentrated and bold. Fun to try, but traditional watercolor is much easier to control. Plus, these are dye-based, so they are not lightfast, and they're also highly staining.

Such a good idea making a palette like that😀 I was having trouble with the big sheets taking up space while I was painting so that’s on my to-do list for tomorrow! I have the gem colour paint too that I’ve barely used so might get that out also 😄 love the creativity as always ❤️
I absolutely love this idea. I was recently gifted a giant book of watercolor paper and I haven’t touched my water colors in a while so maybe I’ll give this a try but with other animals. Like my fave which is Monkeys 🙊

If you try watercolor i advise you to buy decent watercolor paper. The quality of the paper is very important. As much as the colours, maybe even more.

I also get scrawlrbox and while I thought these were stunning paints, the mess was far too much for me to deal with (and I think whatever one of the pigments is in the paints triggers my eczema as after testing these out myself it flared up on one of my hands.) Making your own palette is an awesome idea, and it might actually get me to finish these up!

These were really pretty! I know that they will all sell out super quickly if you do put them up for sale but I'll keep my eye out to see if I can grab one & think if they're something you enjoy doing to relax they'd work great as a regular feature on your store. It does make me want to get some watercolour paper to have a go making some myself as I do have a laminator and I'm sure I could use my watercolour pencils (which I have mostly used just as pencil crayons so far lol) to pick up paint from to still do the wet on wet technique. Might be a fun project to try! Especially since this kind of shape is quite simple to do. One of the reasons I've not really done much with my watercolours is that I don't actually know how to compose an artwork. I'm great at colouring in colouring pages, not so much actual drawing/painting things. But I reckon I could manage to paint wet vaguely cat shaped puddles & then drop paint in! Or other simple shapes like the hearts. Ooohh or ghosts & pumpkins for halloween! Even just painting a basic bookmark kind of shape and just letting the colours flow together could look awesome. And well within my current capabilities. 😁

Oh, so they're like that Indian watercolor palette. Honestly back when they came up with it, it was the only one of its kind I think? It's great other art supply manufacturers also took up the idea to give us more options.
Peerless has been around much, much longer. Since the 1880s I believe.
