LOL Right. AR’s are cool, but totally overkill for home defense. A good shotgun, or even an AR style 22 will get the job done while not having to worry about over penetrating.
Hope you remember ear protection and a flash suppressor. Ar pistols are destructively loud and the muzzle flash is insane. If you don't have either of these readily available you will get 1 - 3 shots off before you are blind and deaf. Defensive firearms instructor advice. Not knocking the firearm at all, Love it, just not the best choice for this application. Also: the folding stock is nice until you realize that unless you have a round in the chamber the gun will not cycle while its folded because the recoil/ reload spring is in the stock. Even if you have a single round in the chamber you will have to put the stock back in place and manually chamber another round because the auto loading from the gas blow-back didn't engage the spring. Oh there's also the issue of the potential issue that if you take a shot with the stock folded that puck will fly out with extreme force in your direction.

@Stewie I already replied to a comment you ssid early but still, 5.56 is not the best option. Shotguns can drop people A LOT faster than 5.56NATO. And, depending on what loads you are using, wont go through drywall

Sorry you’re all wrong I’ve got one on my 8.5 .300Blk with about 650 rounds through it and haven’t had any issues and the portability is why I have this set up it’s the only one of my 3 AR pistols with this! You gotta try something before you knock it and don’t just fall in line because someone else says the same thing you may be thinking do your own research!
@@chuckst98 Anecdotal evidence of one gun not malfunctioning after a few hundred rounds is not evidence they are reliable. For a bag gun I agree it’s cool, for a home defense gun it’s an unnecessary potential problem.

@@DubZer020 who knows. He didn’t show clear. And that mag seating sounded extra. Like maybe a held open bolt that closed on slam? Or maybe it was pulled out the safe loaded (if there is one) no telling.
@@TheCrash0veride After looking at the video again, I see that the bolt carrier is forward. It may be a new weapon which might be the reason it sounds like that.
