- Hey Y'all!
I am so excited to show you my custom Eternal Leather Goods cover I ordered to fit the Sterling Ink Common Planner N2 520p WITH the clear cover on. I have have always been a cover in cover kinda gal as I like to switch up the front with pictures or art through the year. It helps me stick with the planner to be able to switch that up. This is a BEAUTIFUL fit and the dimensions that I asked Colin to do were:
20.2 x 24 cm
So if you want a cover to fit your SICP N2 520p with clear cover, ask for that size. Also, I got the color NATURAL.

I would love dot stickers, especially if you allowed us to pick the colors. I use the original mildliner colors for color coding

"I rub them on my forehead!" Yeah, that's not creepy! Wink wink!!!! I just finished yesterday binding some planner inserts I printed out on Tomoe River paper (slight fiasco) and moved everything from one Sojourner B6Slim to another one I haven't used yet but it's a natural leather and I'm specifically using it so I can watch it patina (it already came with a bit of patina because I bought it on a closeout sale)....we'll see how it goes. That cream colored TWSBI is tempting....but if and when I buy one, I really like the bronze and blue one.....hmmm.....NOT BUYING FOUNTAIN PENS (if I say it loud enough, will I hear it?)
You introduced me to Chic Sparrow. Do you still get them, too? What made you switch to Eternal Goods, I think they’re called.
I am not using TN inserts anymore but bound notebooks so I don’t buy travelers notebooks anymore. I’m really enjoying the covers made for bound books that snap. I have seen that CS makes a snapped cover but it only comes in A5Slim, I believe. I don’t use that size. Love their work but my book has changed so I don’t need the TNs. I am still holding on to my favorites from the past but have been destashing little by little.
@@AliBrownie CS actually makes custom covers now with the option for a snap folio. I've been slowly replacing my TNs with custom folios as my needs have also changed. ELG is amazing but if you ever feel like swapping back, the option is there!

Ali, I got my order of stickers. Never stop making them. So you use a Weeks for planning and what size is your journal, I assume is your bigger one with the photos?

@@AliBrownie I just got what I think is a standard sized TN. I like that size. Usually I get A5s, but the standard has room but not a full-sized book. I’ll check out N1. A last question. Do you use lined for journaling?

Hi Ali- Does the 24 give you enough cover to cover the front of the N2 without being flush against it? I'm ordering and am worried that it won't cover it enough. My Gillio covers it with about 1/4" to spare, which is perfect. Just thought I'd ask!
I don’t know if you’re able to see the part of the video where I show a top down view, but you will see that there is ample room. I don’t like a cover that just barely fits and this one is not like that.
If you start at 6:22 you can see how the cover fits from a good angle.
I did and paused over that spot and examined- LOL- it was just still hard to tell for me. Thanks for confirming!

How long did it take for you to get your notebook? I bought this planner cover from Eternal Leather Goods after watching this at the first of January and still haven’t received it. It’s showing ‘delayed’. So about 6 weeks in shipping so far…
I don't remember off the top of my head. Sorry! I do share the time it took to get to me in the video. I do know that he is getting more popular of a notebook maker so perhaps he is backed up. Have you emailed Colin? He is VERY good about communication. I always advise to contact the maker when you feel there is a problem. I'm sorry the wait is longer than you'd like. I am currently waiting 8 weeks for my VDS order. While I don't mind the wait, I do appreciate knowing how much time it is. I would reach out to Colin and ask if he can give you a timeline. Beautiful planners. I love your paint swatches cover art. Do you prefer the dome snap or flat snap? Does one stay closed better or is easier to open and snap close?
