    Thank you very much for this interview! This brings back the memories of Chanukah 2014 / חֲנוּכָּה 5775 in Kabul, Afghanistan. We had a CPT chaplain rabbi who did the battlefield circulation and was able to lead the 1st, 2nd, and 5th nights at our installation (the rest was done by the lay leader). All supplies were provided by the Aleph Institute.

    Rabbi Estrin, Thank for your holy work in chaplain service! I also had that honor of serving our nation's heroes for 20 active duty years. As a non Jew your story concerning the chaplain who helped a Jewish soldier become frum was especially meaningful. I still remember several beautiful encounters with Jewish service members. Besides the honor I had of serving them, I think I was the chaplain honored with leading the fallen warriors ceremony for the fallen chaplain you mentioned on his final flight to the USA along with 17 other fallen warriors. I just looked up his info: Was this the fallen chaplain you referred to? Chaplain Capt. Dale A Goetz
    Died August 30, 2010 Serving During Operation Enduring Freedom
    43, of White, S.D.; assigned to 1st Battalion, 66th Armor Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Carson, Colo.; died Aug. 30 in the Arghandab River Valley, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device. Also killed in the attack were Army Pfc. Chad D. Clements, Army Staff Sgt. Jesse Infante, Army Staff Sgt. Kevin J. Kessler and Army Staff Sgt. Matthew J. West.

      I agree and thank you all. Life experiences form us, teach us and lead us to know ourselves and give back to Life with the Gifting that YHVH, God, has blessed each and all. Again, it’s great to see you all enjoying the time shared, together, on air. His Blessings to you all. 💙💙💙🕎🙏🏻

    Wow! I can totally relate to the story of your son. We found out that our son has Down Syndrome also in utero. At almost every check up we were encouraged to abort and told that he will have no life and will be a burden etc. This, in Israek, Eretz Hakodesh! It was so horrible and and so ugly, that they would push this agenda. BH he is very happy boy that brings so much love and light as your son does!

    Why do all chabadniks seem to be having such exciting lives? Is it just us losers who struggle with day-to-day trying to make ends meet and learning a little on the side? It might be worth considering becoming a chabadnik, who knows.

      I heard the same question from another Chabad rabbi. Why are we, the non frum, so jealous of a frum Jew as to how they are so happy with their life compared with the less religious.
      What is it about a religious, restrictive lifestyle that makes them so happy?

    Living the way the lubavitch rebbe wanted you to live or the way Hashem wants us to live? It really bothers me to see how chabadniks worship the rebbe like he's god or something, it's so unfortunate!

    • @hindareizes2556
      @hindareizes2556 4 месяца назад +2

      What is really unfortunate is that you have no concept of what a Rebbe is. Learn some chassidus first so you at least understand..

      What the hell is wrong with you?? This man has done more to bring Jews closer to god and Judaism in one year than you have done in your entire life. You have absolutely no right to judge a real leader of Klal Yisroel.

    • @MsMuradova
      @MsMuradova 4 месяца назад

      @@hindareizes2556Why are you assuming that I don't know what chasidut is? I have nothing against them admiring their Rabbi and listening to his teachings, however there's a thin line between having respect and actually worshipping them, I've seen too many chabadniks unfortunately blur the lines between respect and worshiping the rebbe. They take it to a level of the christians who worship jc. It pains my heart when I see well meaning Jews who believe in the Torah but worship there rebbe like they are god. It's idol worship and we have to be aware of that
