Thank you, this was somehow really helpful. I am a Canadian, moved to Israel 12 years ago, and it is very relaxing to hear the voice of American Jews talking together with intelligence and compassion. I would say that the trauma in Israel is played into perfectly by the pro-P narrative, which states outright that we deserved to be slaughtered. It says a lot about the psychology of the people in the world, the emotional orientation and the mentality of abuse and punishment that is all too common.

The Jews WERE his enemies. David was an Israelite of the tribe of Judah. The same enemies Christ called ‘a nest of vipers’ and ‘of their father the devil’ are the same enemies today.
King David’s psalms are timeless, they were written with Devine inspiration. The enemies he mentioned in his book include all the enemies of Jewish people throughout the history, including those that try to convert us to their religion.

If we shift the focus from the antisemites to G-d, we will quickly realize that it's all G-d, he's waking up the Jews of the world to do Teshuva and start to yearn for moshiach even more, we unfortunately got too comfortable in Galus, Hashem is waking us up, we lived in some sort of illusion that we are safe in America, we need to focus on doing Hashems mitvot with love and happiness, stop paying attention to the haters, that's nothing new, focus on your relationship with others and G-d. We need more than self-esteem because life is simply too big, and tragedies too deeply felt. We need something transcendent. G-d has created us for relationship with Him, and our hearts will always be empty without that. And that is why G-d has reached down to us through Y'Shua; we don't have the ability to reach Him.
I like the sentiment and spirit of your post. However,Torah says we can reach God simply by praying to Him. God hears our every cry. Judaism teaches We all have direct access to God. I have heard so many Jews, Christians and Muslims all say how God has helped them. God hears and responds to everyone who cries out to Him

I am a Christian who is 100% pro Israel and 100% anti-Hamas. Am I wrong to think that it is the non religious Jewish ideologues in the US and elsewhere that are bringing about this madness? I’m sure there are nuances that I don’t understand but I have read the Tanakh. Frum Jews need to call out the “I am only culturally Jewish” Jews! We have seen this before throughout history 🙏

We are not allowed to even *think* we understand or know how G-d works and why this is happening. We all need to work on ourselves to be better and do better. I live in Israel, I can tell you firsthand that we are witnessing miracles here on a daily basis. However bad it looks, it could have been a thousand times worse. G-d is with us, this is the beginning of the final war Gog and Magog, and 2/3 of the world are about to be destroyed. What happened in the south is a fraction of what’s to come if we dont get our acts together fast!
That said, I will say that Shabbat and modesty are the 2 MAIN things being pushed here as protection for our nation. Those 2 things alone have already saved lives, I can tell you numerous stories... especially of women dressing modestly. The ashes of immodest clothing that has been burnt is a big protection- they’re saying to give it to the soldiers.
But we all have a lot of work to do - whatever religion, it doesn’t matter because this war will effect every single person on the planet. To put the blame on others is a cop out because we are all one and responsible for each other, and it is also baseless hatred to point fingers and judge others, and that’s what got us in to this mess in the first place. This is why everyone is focusing now on Achdut- being United and loving our fellow Jew, the way G-d wants us to behave. Unfortunately it takes tragedy to bring it out, but the same way the murderers did not judge who they killed (observant and non observant were murdered) we cannot judge anyone either.

I'm a modern orthodox Jew and I've haddddd it with Jews who don't know anything about their culture but speak on our behalf. Their phenomenon is that they want to be as assimilated as they can be, and they feel they need to prove it. So they do a 180 on actual Jewish values. This is what you're seeing. We're well aware of it, and as an Israeli, I'm sickened by how our own people are trying to sell us out.
