I've even heard Neil young say this before that he would appreciate photos and clapping or yelling after each song. Me myself being a musician also feel it's a little distracting to hear screaming in the middle of a song. Maybe for some it's not as distracting, but for me, it could make me lose concentration while playing a song. Some artists it might not effect like that..... just sayin...
