I understand you gotta give a balanced view of phones but this video is ridiculous. The only real reason to avoid this phone is lack of long term software support. One whole reason. Anything else is nitpicking or comparing this phone to other high end phones which is not fair. I’m a fan, Kev, but I think you’ve run out of ideas for content here.
For real, I just got a 2023 and it's a blast for me, I don't play games I just need it for work and to listen to YT videos, wanted the stylus for people to sign for the jobs I complete and it was $35 super cheap. Way faster than any of my old tablets, and the last phone I had was a 3g slider, been without a cell phone almost 2 years. This is a nice entry levl phone for people that don't live on them or want to show off the most lusty tech lol.
I think I have the same lol running out of storage as well , so this is definitely a upgrade from the stylus 2020 or maybe 22. But it's older one lol. Can't go wrong plus I will always keep Motorola phones

There is a miss statement about durability at the end of the video. Glass will not be more durable over time when compared to the cheaper material of plastic. The glass back on a phone is the most likely thing to break over time.
Okay these complaints aren't really valid for the price of free and nobody is paying full price for this phone. Show me a phone in this price bracket that has all of the features this phone has... It's a semi misleading video because you are comparing it to phones in a whole different tier. I would repost this video and use different terminology and articulate a little differently. Great phone for anyone who wants to get it on a deal. Most people don't even update their apps nor do they pay attention to software updates. Moto gave a lot for letting this phone go for free. Love your vids but this one seemed rushed or half assed, no offense Kev. I actually watched your channel from the beginning.
There's a difference between "reasons to avoid" something vs "things to consider" as everything you mentioned is "subjective/objective" and nothing that would render the phone inoperable or sub-standard. Devi's in the Details. Quit nitpicking and remain objective if you want your posts to be better respected. Thanks for sharing all the same.
I just brought this phone and the ads are killing me. I can't get them to stop. I'm about to return unless there's away to stop them. Even when I'm not using the phone, like asleep, ads are popping up. Ugghhh
The Metro Zone thing? 😅 You go to the App Settings... Go to the Storage and look ... Check "App Info" for the Apps causing the "ads" You then select "Disable" or "Uninstall"
Actually you will not be getting a wall adapter with new releases phones at any carrier anymore. So that's not just with the Moto G Stylus 5G 2024. Samsung , iPhones and I think the Google Pixel will not be doing that as well.
The only thing that onlys me about the phone (besides the bloatware) is how close the design of the phone is to the LG Stylo 6 (aka the last LG prepaid phone).
So you're comparing a mid range phone with flagship phones that haven't even been released yet??? The last time I used an HDMI out cable was 10 years ago. Wireless is the thing these days, it's been the "thing" for many many years now.
As a relatively new owner of this phone, I agree with you that the absence of a wall charger is disappointing--and cheap. It looks like Motorola is trying to cut corners where they don't need to. Also, I agree with you that the limited system update is also disappointing. Such is life. Other than that, I have no complaints about this phone. Great video!

So who gives you a wall adaptor with phone anymore?. No biggy Beyond android 15 I'll have another phone. Stylus is a plus. Your not paying the price of a galaxy s 24 ultra please. Build quality. What price are you paying? You want all aluminum for 399 ?
