  • Ten years ago, on March 8, 2014, Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 vanished from radar screens, leaving behind a trail of unanswered questions and speculation. The Boeing 777, carrying 239 passengers and crew, was enroute from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing when it disappeared without a trace.
Despite extensive multinational search efforts in the Southern Indian Ocean, where the plane is believed to have crashed, no bodies or wreckage have ever been found. Now, as the Malaysian government considers launching a new search for MH370, the mystery surrounding the missing plane continues to captivate the world.
Numerous theories have been proposed over the years to explain the disappearance of MH370, ranging from mechanical failures to terrorist hijackings, to murder-suicide plots.
One theory suggests that the 53-year-old captain of the plane, Zaharie Ahmad Shah, purposefully crashed the aircraft after making a U-turn across Malaysia. However, without concrete evidence to support any of these theories, the fate of MH370 remains shrouded in mystery.
TalkTV's Maddie Hale speaks to V.P.R. Nathan, KS Narendran, Fuad Sharuji, Nigel Cawthorne, Christine Negroni, Richard Godfrey, Captain Byron Bailey, Dr Simon Boxall, Florence De Changy and Guy Zajonc.

What do you think happened to flight MH370?

  • @lukemorgan6166

    Cover up is what

  • @TheTeaParty320

A hijacker who knew how to fly the airplane, navigate around air borders, fly over airforce bases, take it to a location Zahari programmed into his flight simulator? No terrorist can do that. It was Zahari Ahmad Shah, no ifs and not buts.

  • @raoulmoat6762

So nothing new, thanks for wasting 23 minutes of everyone's time

  • @johanetzebeth2183

The moment when Vietnam realized there is something wrong,Why did'nt they sent fighter jet???

  • @andrewroberts91

Can someone explain to me why we need to have an off button for a transponder on a plane?

  • @Richard-sc7yq

The key to understanding what happed to MH370 is the likely method for disabling or switching-off the ACARS satellite communication system, which did happen within about 60 seconds after the transponder for MH370 was switched-off. Shortly after the last communication was made by MH370 pilot Zaharie Ahmad Shah, the transponder for MH370 was turned off. Shortly after that happened, within one minute or so, the Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System (ACARS) of MH370 did not function at all (turning a control knob in the cockpit would not have accomplished this).

So we are supposed to believe and prioritise the theories of two women (mostly journalists)- one American one French over the hypothesis of pretty much every aviation expert worth their salt?🙄 The pilot did it. Plain and simple!

  • @josiedudley8451

I hope the families of the passengers get some credible answers. Very sad situation.

The journalist is brushing over the simulation data from the home simulator of the pilot. That shows premeditation. She just wanted to push the cargo fire theory which doesn’t match a whole mountain of evidence.

  • @bradwade5331

He had the same flight path on his simulator to the same place ,that's the evidence ,why would you practice that flight path ,I don't think people understand how big the search area is and you would not have seen any debris because they didn't know that was were it was for about a week also debris eventually washed up on reunion Island exactly where the current would take it.that French lady refuses to look at the evidence and her ignorance is annoying.

  • @7th.trumpet

Certain scientists, were on that plane going back to China and then the plane magically disappeared ...end of !

  • @patriciaoreilly8907

Sinister activity. Silence of what happened smell's fishy .

  • @lallalucas4145

Hard to listen to the narrators voice. It is so tired and croaky

  • @ShamyTV5k

hijacked? never. The pilot ditched the plane above Wharton Basin, 5000m deep.

Zone in on what we do know....when MH370 left Malaysian airspace and entered Vietnam's, that was the exact moment the plane changed direction and disconnected all tracking. Malaysia has more to lose then gain knowing the truth, so don't expect their co- operation. Green Dot Aviation channel does better research then most docos so please look then up.

  • @tickedoffsheikh8587

Here's a suggestion can Mr Robert Ballard have a say in this search for MH370? It's my most humble view that he's the most experienced oceanographer that might be able to find the missing plane. Can you give him a chance?

  • @unajaneeskew2168

Just look at the face of the captain. What does that look say? He looks questionable to me! I think you all know what happened. Take some accountability!

  • @user-bf2lq1lf4v

Humans have reached the moon and mars but not able to search the vast ocean to find a missing plane. SMH

  • @jayseereviews

THe captain has received a misterious phonecall and the Malasyan goverment doesn't want to share that info....and after that phonecall the flight went crazy....do the maths? why ppl are still calculating? we got IA'S can do the job, yep. I keep seeing obstacles all the time? ....i'm tired ..dunno
