    Thank you for showing this video, Maria! I was having this problem with quite a few of my plants and I was actually tying the leaves together to give the babies room to grow because I didn't want to take the babies out just yet, the babies were still to young. But now I can give them room with your method. I do appreciate everything that you show on your channel! Stay bless, Maria!!! Please keep all your knowledge coming! I need all the help that I can get. Thank you again! ~MG

      @MariasgardenGarden  6 лет назад +1

      Dottie Aldridge first you have to wait for winter to remove and propagate they have to be one third the size of the mom plat before you can remove very carefully you have to remove with a little roots then planted in dry soil don’t water for a couple weeks then water ones a week also apply fertilizer one every six months slow release only any fertilizer high in nitrogen or osmocote 14-14-14 slow release thank you Maria’s garden

    Agave Americana is by far the agave with most pups, which is an undesirable trait. In my experience by removing the pups and placing them in their own container each plant has a better chance to grow.
