I somehow managed to edit the EVE Redux file so that now I have both Spectra for the auroras and Volumetric Clouds at the same time. Also Blackrack said he is working on adding the auroras to his mod so you can wait and see.

Yes, all the footage shown of volumetric clouds has been recorded while playing the game on my laptop. I still get playable frames per second between 20 and 60 depending on the craft size. Its an ASUS laptop from 2019 with: - GTX1650 - i5-9300H -16 GB RAM - 500 GB SSD Hope it helps

If you ever whatched a Matt Lowne video you'll surely find that the cockpit windows are transparent, how can he do that? I noticed that also you have transparent cockpit windows at min 1:38
Hi, it's cool to hear you got your beefy computer to work again! To make the spacecraft windows transparent it is fairly simple and requires no mods. You have to click that small yellow dot icon located next to the icons of your Kerbal astronauts during the game at the bottom right of the screen. Hope it helps 🤙
For stock parts I use the stock configs. If you are using the restock mod then you can also find the Waterfall re-stock configs on the CKAN mod manager program. It's really worth it. For restock plus I am not sure because I haven't used that version before.

About a year ago I did try the outer planets mod and I remember being disappointed at the lack of detailed features on the planets compared to the stock ones. From my understanding, this is mainly due to the incompatibilty of OPM (being a very old mod) with Spectra, Scatterer and True Volumetric Clouds (recent mods). It's possible that OPM hasn't been updated to support recent mods. I will check if the issue has been fixed now, since OPM is indeed a great mod, otherwise I'd recommend checking out similar ones that are more recent and compatible with recent visual mods. Btw your channel is goated, keep it up 🔥

There is a mod called parallax for OPM but that does just use textures from stock planets and apply them to the outer planets, also i don't think that it adds any surface features, but i didn't have the time to check it all. OPM basically brings configa for scatterer and eve and theres also poods OPM Visual Overhaul which is some kind of replacement or additon to eve. Astronomers visual pack also states that it supports OPM. Thats all i know so far. Yes I have a history with KSP and want to play again. Now that theres a final version and no one will break our mods, Im looking to build my personal ultimate modded KSP.

I took the screenshot over a year ago, but I remember that I used the TUFX profile "Cold HDR" to obtain such results. The rest is done with Volumetric Clouds, EVE, Scatterer and Spectra Also consider that over a year ago Spectra and Volumetric clouds might have looked slightly different than today.

Ok so if you have the restock mod then its a different situation than the example I showed in the video. I do not know if restock is compatible with TURD and Lazy Painter (both are mods to colour the parts). For the TUFX settings I am not sure what you are asking exactly based on your question. (It's okay bro, English is also not my first language)
I would recommend you the True Volumetric Clouds mod by BlackRack as it is intended to be a configuration of EVE, which he also made. Just keep in mind that it costs 4$ but personally I find it worth it.
It depends, TURD has support for some modded parts, but it requires you to install extra files for this to work. On the KSP Forum page for the TURD mod you should see a list of supported modded parts you can paint.
I agree Parallax is a heavy mod and I also recommend for most users to reduce the render distance of the terrain details. It's crazy how laggy the game becomes.

With those specs, absolutely yes! My laptop has a GTX 1650 mobile and an overclocked and undervolted i5 9th gen. I don't get insane frame rates but the game is enjoyable at 20-50 fps when fully modded.

@@perialis2970 My laptop had 8 GB RAM and I bought an extra 8GB so I play with 16 total. The difference is that you get more frames per second and the games you play stop having micro stutters. Overall a cheap and substantial upgrade I'd recommend doing, if possible.

It has a Ryzen RX6700-XT GPU and a Ryzen 5 5600X GPU so it will run KSP at much higher framerates and at 1440p. I plan to create higher quality KSP content in the future with this new powerful setup!
It's an ASUS laptop from 2019 so it's 4 years old, not 8. Parallax 2.0 is much more optimised than its previous versions and it runs fine on a GTX1650 mobile graphics card.

That's odd, I would suggest you try reinstall EVE from the CKAN which makes sure you won't miss any files.

I'd try some of these mods if it weren't for my KSP sending my computer on life support every time I start the game.
