The campaign quests, you'll start them as soon as you enter Khaz Algar (isle of Dorn specifically) you'll know they're campaign quests as it will tell you, and there's the story progress/chapter section at the top of your quest log too so you can always track where you're up to with it :)
Same here! Follower dungeons is also a game changer. I finally got my best friend to play the game a second time and actually enjoy it. He tried during BFA and quit halfway through.

It's a single-player game with MMO elements now. It has not been true to its roots for a while now.

Is rep farming pretty easy if you are hitting all the story lines and side stories? Is there an app to track all the side quests to make sure you get 100%? When does that SW portal become available?
SW portal is available super early on in the campaign Rep farming is steady yeah nice bump from all the side quests, the chains you can track for the “sojourner of -insert zone name here-“ achievements so that’s fairly easy and you’ll not miss them a they show up on the map now where the initial start quest of each chain is And with rep yeah, do the campaign and side quests, loot all the one time treasures and lore objects, and farm rates once each day if you wanna pump rep gains, quite a commitment that though (the rares daily farm) also complete the events as they should grant rep too Cheers mate!

I understand they normally give it about 2 weeks before starting stuff in a new expansion so you can experience it, but adding ANOTHER week on top and making the people who play end game wait even longer is just madness.
The answer is simple, it destroys the progress feeling for anyone else. You can't just run around in war mode or anything if there is 20000 psychopaths with an ilvl 5604004 levels higher than yours because they have no life outside of wow@@NoDFX_

Adding levels to new expansions seems kinda of dumb now. It's just a time waster before you can actually start playing the game. And then when they levels get too high they just squish everything down so what's even the point?
Wow it's almost like WoW is like any other MMO. But seriously, I skipped almost all questing except for campaign and it made no difference when it comes to endgame progression. Renown offers nothing but cosmetic things. No one is forcing you do to shit.
wow should stop forcing the questing/campaign thing AFTER hitting max level and just do it during the leveling part. Makes no sense. At max level you want to do max level things, not go back and quest.
All the latest expansions look so bad visually, they don't look like warcraft, it looks like some disney game. everything is very soft and gentle vs the first 4 versions of wow classic - cata where everything looks rough and mean. It totally ruins the game for me (among a lot of other issues).
this game sucks people havnt even played yet all the early players already max lv this game is nothing but a money generating machine it equals no fun.

If you reach 80 without finishing campaign can you do the last stephs on a alt ? Or alts need to start over campaign from start?
I believe its more likely you will finish the campaign without reaching Level 80
Yeah this is correct, campaign only will get you to 77, and there’s the level 80 campaign to carry on with when you get there
Once you get to renown 5 with each TWW faction, there is apparently a thing you unlock that allows alts to completely skip the levelling campaign

Locking the story behind renown is basically telling me not to bother doing it in the first place.
Level 4 should be really quick. Probably get it just by completing main quest and a could side quests to get to 80.
