    Must say sir that I have been waiting for a sea life special since you began this delightful series, but I must point out that you missed one of the mightiest of ocean predators. The North Atlantic Beaufighter Orca Whales.
    Living in pods of up to twenty Beaufighters, these magnificent beasts have been known to devour entire populations and eco systems of lower tier aircraft in a matter of minutes. Using their impressive armament and diving speed to swoop down into the depths to attack their prey from above, fatally wounding or out right killing their prey in the first attack.
    The destruction that these mammals cause is so catastrophic that a special Russian council was set up to hunt them down and cripple them. Through a cruel twist of evolution, their battle ratings were increased over the years and the Beaufighter whales were no longer able to feed on the lesser species of the North Atlantic, and instead found themselves constantly at the mercy of the Yak-9 barracuda, which is able to cripple and kill a Beaufighter whale in a single bite!
    Yes Squire, a wasted opportunity, but a brilliant video none the less! Top work old chap!

    • @hsnd2388
      @hsnd2388 9 лет назад +2

      PauseForGames Question: Beaufighters came from Britain, right? So if a Russian council had been put in charge of them, unless they [Beaufighters] went into the North Sea, how'd they get to the Pacific?

    Idea for the next one: war thunder bird documentary
    We start by seeing B-29 and B-17 vultures. The B-29 is an adult version of the B-17. Out of the clouds, P-51 eagles come out of the clouds. The B-17 and B-29 vultures do not fret; P-51 eagles and B-29 vultures have a symbiotic relationship. The B-17 is vulnerable to bf-109 and fw-190 falcons despite being able to hold its own in a fight. That is where the P-51 eagles come in. The B-17 vultures get protection while the P-51 eagles get a free meal. P-51s have six 12.7mm claws which tear into the 109 and 190 falcons. The 109 and 190 falcons put up a good fight and even mange to get a meal out of one of the B-17 vultures with their claws which very in size from 13mm to 30mm. The vultures have arrived over a French carcass, easy pickings. The P-51 eagles almost always steer clear of scavenging carcasses in all but the most desperate of situations. P-51 eagles live by a strict code of honor and will always feed on falcons and other birds that hunt the vultures. But that’s not the full story.
    In the pacific, there is also an evolutionary war being waged. The B-29 and B-17 bombers can be found all over the world and thus exposed to threats everywhere. How these creatures have not evolved into that many subspecies yet is a scientific mystery that may take decades to solve. In any case, in the pacific, the vultures don’t have the protection of the P-51 eagles and the vultures of this area is known to be more protective of their young and are better fighters. Just then, a shinden hawk swoops into the flock of B-29s the shinden hawk takes many claw scratches from the B-29’s massive claws but not before the shinden severely damages the wing of the B-29. The shinden has specifically evolved to hunt B-29 vultures and is a master of the niche. The B-29 falls to the ground her young would likely starve without proper care. The carcass of the B-29 will support an ecosystem for months to come. In the pacific, where there are a lot of ocean, there is also a fight for survival against two fearsome rival species. The zero hawk and the hellcat eagle. When the zero was first discovered, it was a feared species and it was almost a miracle that the wildcat eagles has not gone extinct. When the hellcat was discovered, the zero went from predator to prey as the hellcat is known to hunt zeros mercilessly and the zeros have almost no chance of survival. The zero has methods of defending itself but it’s almost always ineffective against the Hellcat’s tough feathers which is the specifically ment to deflect the claws of the zero.
    The oceans are also home to some of the more strange animals like the P-38 sparrow which is known to be able to fly long distances in long migration in search for food and the Corsair seagulls which has a diet for fish (ships) and other birds. How these traits came about are a mystery to science. There are plenty of other animals to discover around the world. Today we have only seems the ecosystems of Europe and the pacific. This is the War Thunder biologist, signing off.

    I vividly remember watching that horrific documentary about the life and death of sea turtles.
    Seeing it again after decades, I discover new details and elements I didn't grasp when I was younger. But it doesn't make it any less horrific.
    Though those little turtles seemed quite less metally in my memory, it is common knowledge that we remember some things differently than they really were.
