From Indian living in Canada I can proudly say Nova Scotia and their people are the best They never made me feel like immigrant, I love you guys Nova Scotia strong ❤️ I pray you guys recover from the recent storm 🙏
Thank you for your video. I'm coming to Halifax this summer for my cousins wedding and now thanks to you I know exactly what I wanna do after. Thanks again.
Thank you for the great video from what I've seen from Samuel and Audrey as well as delightful Travelers Nova Scotia, Halifax and a bunch of other places look great to visit thank you for your perspective
When I was a kid we lived in PEI from when I was two until I was seven. All my first memories were from the Maritimes. PEI, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, one day I'll go back, or at least that's what I keep promising myself.
Oh wow, that Maritime Museum looks wonderful! And trying the local brews and checking out that gorgeous scenery sounds quite appealing too. Seems like a great place for nature, quaint villages and...what was that? Fossils! Sign me up!
I love Nova Scotia! I went there two years ago, and I got to check out Halifax, Lunenburg, and Peggy's Cove. I did get to check out the Bay of Fundy during my trip too, and seeing the differences between high and low tide was incredible! I highly recommend checking out Burntcoat Head Park (not too bad of a drive from Halifax), and I was able to walk on the ocean floor there at low tide. I came back several hours later for high tide, and it felt like a totally different place due to the extreme tides! I'd love to check out the Cabot Trail one of these days! I really enjoyed this video!
You have hit all the tourist pros. To live here, the cons far outweigh the pros. Move to NS if you live 3rd world healthcare, roads that are brutal and repaired to 3rd world standards so they just deteriorate again within 1 year. High income tax, high cost of living, fruit, veg, and dairy are offensively high. Jobs are scarce outside Halifax. Pay sucks, lookup the avg household income. Heating is one if two expensive means, wood or electric, power is one if the highest priced anywhere. Black flies are insane. Gov loves the elderly and collecting equalization payments. Internet and cell service can be zero or poor. Like 2005 speeds if 2mbs, so living rural and working from home is pathetic unless your in a major town or near a major highway. Pros, it's pretty, atv trails are amazing, people are nice. Don't get me wrong, I'm not hating, but as someone who came here from another province, NS is 50 years behind on everything.
This was an awesome list Nadine! I did not know that the famer's market in Halifax was the oldest in North America. My husband and I actually relocated to the Cabot Trail last year. It honestly still feels like I am living in a dream sometimes. It is a magical place.
Love all of these things and covered a lot of them in my own video on Halifax as I called it home for the past 6 years ❤ you nailed all the best parts!
N years ago, we took the CAT from Portland to Yarmouth, explored the town a little bit, checked out the local museum, light house, quite impressive. then drove north to Annapolis Royal (stop by Digby for lunch), visited the Fort Anne National Historic Site and the nearby Annapolis Royal Historic Gardens (small, but nice garden). Crossed the island to the east side, and stay in Lunenburg for the night. then kept having fun for the next several days before heading to New Brunswick. Great experience, will do it again.
I would also add the lighthouse in Yarmouth as another great lighthouse. Time it right when the cat ferry is running it makes for a great sight. Cape split trail is a really good hike on the Bay of Fundy. I know there is more, I love living in Nova Scotia. If you get the chance you should come and see it!
I am from Nova Scotia and I loved watching this video. Some other fun places is to hike Cape split, the bluenose 2 and check out the highlands park in Cape Breton.
Funny that Nadine and I live in the Okanagan now. Annapolis Valley, Wolfville, and Grand Pré were all places we visited and enjoyed. I don't think we went to Kentville, or maybe just drove through
Beautiful video and commentary about my home province, hopefully once the pandemic is over we can enjoy visitors from all over once again. Yes make sure to do a follow up of the Cabot trail and some iconic Cape Breton waterfalls! Cheers
Wow this has sold me on Nova Scotia! I knew I loved Peggy's Cove, as I have such an affinity for lighthouses to begin with, but as you've beautifully shown, that is not all that this charming province has to offer. I remember watching your vlogs from there but not the specific places. Absolutely stunning. Speaking of Peggy's Cove lighthouse, it used to be post office!
I had not heard about the post office, that's interesting. Well if you have an affinity for lighthouses, maybe you should plan a trip for the east coast. Nova Scotia has plenty of them 👌
Makes me wish I was more outdoorsy lol Like biking looks fun, kayaking looks fun and it made me wish I could rollerblade I'm sure there are walking paths and stuff for that too.
@@heynadine You know, that's a good point :D I'm checking out places I can move to that can give me those changes cause it does better for my soul to explore more freedom with those type of activities :D I'm gonna go for it!
HOLY shit this is freaky. Yesterday my partner and I decided we were going to Nova Scotia in July. I can’t believe you just posted this!!! Hahaha so cool I can’t wait to watch it
I thought that you met Matt in Nova Scotia, but had known him before that from your college days. Now it seems you met somewhere else and went to Nova Scotia together. Maybe you could make a video of how you met and got together. I'm sure your followers would be interested in how your romance blossomed.
Feel so lucky to be from Cape Breton!! Nova Scotia is truly amazing, I recommend it to anyone. Daveyandsky are travel influencers who live in the highlands of Cape Breton and are a great source for recommendations if you come back :)
fact about keji: Its actually a burial ground for those victim of residential schools/indian act. That is why the government made it a historical place, so people cant dig. because if you dig, youll find bodies
Dear Canada, Please open your borders to verifiably fully vaccinated people like me so I can visit Nova Scotia. I really want to go now, but I understand I'll have to wait. Keep safe and healthy up there our friendly neighbors to the north. Sincerely. Me.
Now, Nova Scotia is the best name to use for this land, the entire continent, in fact. If one thinks these names are good- America and U.S.A.- that is mistaken; always, there is some curse on these names, and the flag, made through most forbidden means. These names became of Forbidden, actually, with that old Aquarius "New Aeon." They are names of Asynchronization, called Jeqreuq in Okebeni or proto-Celtic. They reflect personal decisions to become Not-Race, or Tedehed; as also, and as such, a basic hostility towards all other peoples. The opposite of a Not-Race land is a Rezefede one, with Race Blessing and Energy. There's a huge difference. All joining lost the Race Tree- one cannot be a branch on such Tree through English, a race sign which actually once existed, long ago, neither through the Not-Race Name, American. Neither due to means of violence and bloodshed in obtaining possession of a land, a Grand Deception this became. Just how serious such a Race Apostasy, or emptiness is, and flag curse, examples: No Religion is possible, although there has been much attempt, The Spirit or Sacred Spirit, not possible; "Personal Power", a popular concept, not possible; no Yoga really possible; of the Four Treasures, or types of "Chi", only the basic is possible, called Jing Chi; in Okebeni, Pethseges. If one has two good parents, of a good marriage, both of the same Race attribution. The English race came to be through an inobservance of this principle; was of a forbidden mixture; with that Aquarius, there were no longer any English, the Sign and Channel was fully removed from the planet. The other Three Types of Chi- Chi Chi, Yuen Chi (soul), Shen Chi (spiritual) were not possible- in Okebeni they are Peretedene, Pezedejwo, and Xerejegni. Three Treasures, lost on the possibility of finding some gold here, perhaps. The Subtle Patriarchal Direction so acquired was the worst of all the 32; the top best possible, these changes in Land's Name and Language necessary I believe, is that of Celtic Albannach. There is some inference with physical coordinates, NEE and NNE, respectively. German and Irish, the languages about as good as Scottish Gaelic, NW and N respectively...
Canada is Lonely, Isolated and Depressed Country.. This is the reason why old population is higher... Young immigrants who come Canada becomes 10-15 years older of their present age because of plenty of hardwork, 2-3 survival jobs on daily basis, using expensive items like Iphone, BMW, Audi and till death keep working to repay the loan they took.... Canada is really worst, sad country to live.....Every year million immigrants come but where they go???? Many immigrants leave Canada same year after few months, some immigrants murdered by natives, some left die in trauma by becoming slaves of Canadians and the left immigrants surviving hard bcz of no option to go back.

There’s so many iconic lighthouses in Nova Scotia, there’s one called Cape D’or that I’d recommend as much as Peggy’s cove.

The Cabot Trail does not circle the Island of Cape Breton. It circles a small portion of the highlands in the northeastern section of the island.
I thought that you met Matt in Nova Scotia, but had known him before that from your college days. Now it seems you met somewhere else and went to Nova Scotia together. Maybe you could make a video of how you met and got together. I'm sure your followers would be interested in how your romance blossomed.
