Thank you for the great review of our little hamlet. Was born here 72 years ago. Been all over Canada and the US, some of Europe but still love it right here in Nova Scotia!
Welcome to Canada guys. I’ve been following you guys for quite a while. I am from the West Coast but I was in New Brunswick in September just across the pond from you guys.
I’ve watched a lot of your vids over the years but this one is the best so far!!! I think you have a future in the tourism industry. You have great camera appeal. Thanks so much for all of the great info as well. Loved the rafting segment- so fun! Happy Trails!
Good job on the video! I road tripped on my Harley from Kentucky a few years ago. I went in September as well; shoulder seasons are the best! It was so warm out, that when we arrived at St-Anns Bay on the Cabot Trail that I dove headlong into the ocean there and went for a swim!
This is one of the best travel videos of our beautiful province that I have seen and I watch a lot of them. Well done! Your information was factual and thorough. You hit many of the highlights, but this province is so diverse in geography, history and culture, it would take months to see and do it justice. For years, we have taken our province for granted. We now see what tourists value here. It is a blessing to be Nova Scotian! We may not be monetarily wealthy here, but our riches surpass the monetary.
Thanks for the video. I stumbled across your channel today. As someone who has lived in Nova Scotia my whole life, and who absolutely loves this place, you did a fantastic job of highlighting some of the best parts. I am really looking forward to watching your other videos. Thanks again!
Canada was my home growing up out west. Never bin to nova scotia, so thank you for sharing your experiences with us. I think they should put you two on the payroll for advertising their province! That all was very beautiful.
Lunenburg is basically a film town all around now. I think there's been at least 5? Productions this past year. We were in the area doing a new amazon show before and after that tropical storm. Lived here my whole life but I still enjoyed this!
Really enjoyed this video! Well done! Huge props for mentioning the Mi'kmaq Nation! Been to Nova Scotia 2x now in our van. We live on the west coast, but any trip east must include NS. Have to be the friendliest people anywhere! We cross into Canada frequently. The rules regarding what's permitted are vague at best and mostly dependent on which border agent you deal with, but bear spray is allowed. No pepper spray, but yes to bear spray. Mandatory accessory when hiking in Western Canada.
I love Nova Scotia! We were there in the summer of 2022 on motorcycles. We took the ferry from Yarmouth to Bar Harbor. Excellent way to travel! Heading back next year with our travel trailer
Cajuns can trace their family trees back to the Maritime provinces... They descend from some of the almost 10,000 deported Acadians who eventually made their way to the French colony of Louisianna from the New England states. They were excellent farmers having reclaimed land from the sea in Nova Scotia and Louisianna was in need for farmers for their low lands. We share family names and old French Acadian words. There is an Acadian World Congress held here and family reunions happen in conjuction with it where folks from around the world come to celebrate the culture and to learn about their geneology.
Wow, this is definitely on my bucket list now. It is just beautiful. I think it's one of my favorite videos that you've done. There's so many fun things to do in Nova Scotia. That rafting trip was astounding. 💖🙏✌️
I’m a Canadian living in California since the 80s. I always wanted to go to the maritimes. Your video of Nova Scotia really got my radar up, outside of the overrated Lobster rolls. Lol. Scallops sure looked delicious.
Miss not seeing more content. But when you do you knock it out of the park! This trip is definitely on list...Will take your route with our camper. Going to take your suggestions for the UP. What time of year were you in Nova Scotia?
You really need to go to Prince Edward Island then. You can take the Confederation Bridge over the Northumberland Strait from New Brunswick, or go by ferry from Nova Scotia.
“The magic winery bus.” Is that anything like the magic carpet ride? Now you have that song in your head. 🤪🤪. P.S. I think we scored the first comment. 👍
Thank you. We asked a few people there and everyone always pronounced it slightly differently. We tried to replicate the Mi'kmaq person we spoke to but clearly didn't execute well. Thanks for sharing

In 2022 we spent 4 weeks in Nova Scotia on a 2 month long trip of the Maritimes Provinces and loved NS best. Thanks for the memories.

Awesome episode!
Thank you. So nice to see you tuning in here! ❤️
don't forget about how Acadians became Cajuns in Louisiana.
Yes! They were their Acadian cousins more or less lol. I had no idea honestly!
Cajuns can trace their family trees back to the Maritime provinces... I’ve been to Nova Scotia twice but didn’t have as much fun as you lol 😂 I’m going to try to follow your recommendations next time 😊
Hahahah this comment is everything. Hope you make it back soon

I get that. Life has been a lot lately and we post when we can! Glad you felt it was a home run 👏🏼 we visited NS in September. Enjoy the UP!
Been wanting to go there since watching
eading Anne of Green Gables
Oh my gosh she's like a Queen here! I hadn't heard of her but want to read some now. 😜
@@EatSeeRV The books by Lucy M. Montgomery are wonderful
There are two TV series.
The one that is a MUST see stars Megan Follows.

Haha 😆 🍷 it definitely took us on a ride.
The tribe that you keep speaking of is pronounced Mic Mac. My family lineage on both sides are from that tribe. Just thought you’d like to know.
Thank you. We asked a few people there and everyone always pronounced it slightly differently. We tried to replicate the Mi'kmaq person we spoke to but clearly didn't execute well. Thanks for sharing
What time of year did you go? We are going June/July 2025. Got it you went in September.
Ya forgot Irish people
I didn't learn much about that history on our tours but doesn't mean it's not true haha!
