@@emjem99 I don't know...Red Bull is now Max's team. You can't be sure if Daniel can adapt to Max style car. So far, all Max's teammates failed. Checo is struggling too.
@@jsong8584 while Checo is undoubtedly a very good driver with a fierce defence I think Danny out-brakes him and likes a pointy car more. I reckon he'd get a fair bit closer to Max, but Max is going to be the G.O.A.T. IMHO.

@@superiourkunal Yep.. that's my thought. Gunther as narrator... or at least in the role of DTS race commentator since we don't get much of Crofty and Brundle... would like to hear more of those two also.
The delusional thoughts in my head keep saying that Gunther knew Horner was about to get booted and wanted to free himself up from the dumpster fire that is Haas with the slightest hope that he could sneak into a winning team.

Also lance didn't have a fully bad season, you can compare him to Alonso, that for starters, the car became undrivable according to Alonso and lance when the Aston martin perf started to drop off. They have Alonso and the team is very professional and determined to do better than last time. 2022 to 2023 showed how much of an improvement they did, shows how serious the team is.

People love to shit on DTS, but I’m with you. More Formula 1 footage is always good. Sure, Netflix likes to over-dramatize, create storylines, and embellish, but as long as you go in knowing that, it’s all good. I watch the races for the actual racing, and DTS for the behind-the-scenes and the personalities.
@@PeDDeR27 That's the problem, in DTS there is no "behind the scenes" but "out of the writers imagination" most of the time. There is more drama in the paddock than Netflix can put into 10 episodes but, for some reason, they discard the real drama and just make their own false narrative.
@@valije well if the “real” gets out that can mean major trouble for racing teams who have big sponsors. Look at the Christian Horner scenario right now.. the big sponsors/investors are just WATCHING for a positive outcome or negative to stay or pull out.

Which, with the history of Netflix doesn't make it any more credible that that test was /that/ good. It makes for a great story, and as we've seen through seasons of the show. They don't shy away from creating stories...

Just finished watching DTS season 6 and have to say it was about as exciting as a visit to the dentist.
What was interesting, was the depth of the cracks forming within the Mercedes team. Clearly LH was not in a happy place and I think Toto knew deep down that LH was going to part ways with the team.

I wish I was a fan of F1, just so I would binge watch this in it's entirety. It looks like really good production and also really interesting. Some people told me that, after watching a season or two, I will be a fan of F1. Some said 1 season, others said all of it. Apparently it's THAT good at representing.
What F1 is and what it's all about. I'm still torn tho. 60 episodes is a whole commitment.
