This is a very thoughtful question. Technically, yes, unless you cite me in your essay by naming me, which is not something AQA expects at GCSE (at A-Level, yes). However, I expect this is what many of your peers will be doing for other RUclipsrs. What I would recommend is this: by all means, use my ideas as starting points in your essay, but then build on them and try to develop them your own insights into the poem(s). I say this because if an examiner reads lots of answers saying the same (or similar) things (i.e. from the usual RUclips profs) , it's boring for them. What they really like is something fresh, original and new, and thoughtful GCSE students are capable of these kinds of insightful responses. Believe in yourself and your ideas. Best wishes, Mr F
