My bank manager is a smart dude, he keeps that stuff for himself. He knows not to bother searching any rolls I bring in. Seems weird that a banker would just give money away.
Nice haul. 3 years ago my best find was, 6 rolls of quarters, 3 rolls of halves, 13 rolls of dimes, 3 rolls of war nickels and 2 rolls of buffalos. The only way to get this is asking for customer wrapped rolls. I've gotten good hits with bags, but if you want whole rolls of silver, it's customer wrapped. Having persistence.is the way. And being lucky. ......Love the channel Dave.
Odd story, i found a 1963 "D" Quarter in my Grandmas Garden. But i live in Germany. I have no idea how it got there. It´s in way better condition than most of these coins here. I was amused when i googled that in 1963 the silver value of the Quarter actually was higher than a quarter Dollar. So basically a Quarter in ´63 was worth more in Silver than in Dollars. I have kept this Quarter in my collection of interesting things.
@@jaymartell2967 So the first score only had one 50%er. The second batch had a lot more, but the silver was up more so I actually broke my payout record. First batch I got $220 and the second batch I got $240.
Got a question for you Dave. When you were in the car with the roll in your hand, it appears as if both coins were facing obverse, and both were from 1964. However, when you had it in the green dish and pulled it out of the roll. The end coin was on the reverse and not obverse, and not from 1964. It was a 1944 S. My question is did you rearrange the coins for effect? Or, are you a magician and made the 1964 disappear and reappear as a 1944 S?
That's awesome. Very cool of the bank manager. I once asked if they had any of the large silver dollars. My bank manager told me he collects coins so buys them all first. Lol. Lucky you
So, a few of you noticied like I did that he lost the right side 1964 ender somewhere... He has 40 quarters at the start @4:17. Then @4:53 he has 39 quarters left after removing one. @5:07 he is down to 37 after removing the 2nd quarter. It appears the end quarter fell off the holder when he zoomed in and pulled the 2nd quarter out..... After this point he is down 1 and the first quarter on the right is no longer the 1964. @6:15 I see one quarter at the bottom right that has to be the original 1964 ender since he had not started pulling them to look yet. I hope that helps!!
In this video, Dave shows his viewers a roll of silver quarters he picked up from his bank. The video of him in the car flashing the two ends of the coin roll clearly show TWO obverse facing 1964 quarters. However, when he gets home and after he gently lays the coins in his green tray, and removes the 4 clad coins, the first quarter he pulls out of the tray is a 1944 S quarter. How does this 1964 quarter become a reverse facing 1944 S quarter? It's a legitimate question Dave. I've been watching your vids for quite some time, and commented on a couple of them. Just curious.
Great score! With a melt value today of about $5.60 per coin ($5.35 more than face value), you gained almost $200 in value above face on that roll today!
It's nice that you have that kind of a connection with your banker, but how sad it is that he knew enough about those quarters to call you because he knew they were worth $$$. but yet didn't advise the customer. He should have let her know they were worth some money and he know's someone that collects coins, and you two could've worked something out
The bank manager called and said he got a penny roll and they look and sound weird. Guys the enders are both gold, let’s see if the rest of the roll is gold and look at that, all gold except a couple 1909 S VDBds. I don’t think the bank manager knew what he had.

He doesnt Collect Coins and knows about my RUclips so i guess thats why he let me buy them

Pre-1968?
@@jaymartell2967 So the first score only had one 50%er. The second batch had a lot more, but the silver was up more so I actually broke my payout record. First batch I got $220 and the second batch I got $240.

About 15 years ago, my boss needed a couple of quarter rolls from the bank and they were all mixed silver. Never happened again lol
I worked at a CU years ago and have a full roll of silver quarters- untouched by me. Slipped them out and put them back in the roll.
Clever;I got sixteen 64'BU while working at a GS once

You must have a great connection with your bank to alert you, that’s the inside scoop!
That's awesome. Very cool of the bank manager. I once asked if they had any of the large silver dollars. My bank manager told me he collects coins so buys them all first. Lol. Lucky you

That epic roll was almost all silver(90% of it)...$200 profit...congratz! 👍
Be sure yo check reverse types as well, while you are looking them up
What quarter rolls looked like in 1965
Go Dave!!!

Dude gave you a minimum of $200 worth of quarters for like $10, that's a good friend.
Holy moly 😮
There was only 35 silver quarters and 4 clad quarters.... Missing one
Weird the first silver quarter you took was suppose to be a 1964 but instead you took a 1944, I'm perplex
Great score! With a melt value today of about $5.60 per coin ($5.35 more than face value), you gained almost $200 in value above face on that roll today!
Be lucky to $3 a piece from CS
Now that’s a good relationship Bro!
Do you sell your high value coins?
Needless to say; your one lucky man; the ancient silver gods have blessed thee lol
Awesome
I hope you picked up a lotto ticket this week. 🍀
not bad! $200 for $10!
Is there some new kind of bank where employees hate money?
HOLY CRAP
I was really hoping you would find something like a barber or Stander Maybe
Im still happy haha :)
😂😂😂😂😂😂 OK! 👌
I feel sorry for the old lady.i hope she didn't need the money😢
All for me! Jk lol… Congrats on this major find!
If your bank manager knew the dates were old, why didn’t he keep them
Buying collectable coins and/or currency is not part of their job description. Its just chump change to them anyway.
Bank managers don't make an incredible salary. Makes me think the video is BS@@jaymartell2967

Wow

No he doesn't, the manager makes plenty $$$$$$
B.S.
No, it isn't.
I need one for my collection give me some 3
Wow…… that’s all I can say
Hitup your gram grams people they are holding out. Lol.
Views getting dry?
views are fine thanks for asking man :)
Im calling BS.
How to turn $10 into $200
Rarity and worth the trip
Can't believe the manager wouldn't just buy the roll himself. Crazy
yea he doesnt collect coins and let me buy them
I'm sure the manager has a high enough salary
First
Banks dont open rolls they get Weighed so you stacked that roll!!!
So disappointed in you Dave! I’m unsubscribing to your channel. From now on, be honest and truthful!

Bullshit
He probably made this shit up for views. Great idea really.
The 2004 Texas State Quarter is funny because I found a Proof Silver one of those myself.
Honestly, hope Rob grows jealous of ya.
