Awesome video nice half dollar hunt congratulations on finding 20 40% silver half dollars and 3 90% silver half dollars and a 73 ddo half dollar thanks for sharing diggin Dave
Nice silver finds. I remember like 20 years ago I would find at least two silvers per roll and a few 90’s. Not as many people were aware of the 40% silvers back then as they are now. I had a few boxes that were all silver except for like ten. About 25% were 90% with a good amount of walkers and franklins. I even found a Liberty seated 1857- o and a Barber 1912-s. That was my best half dollar box ever.
Second box was EPIC, Congratulations, a little of constructive criticism, too many recaps, I know it takes you a while to do the hunt, but we’re watching it fast paced, Keep Stackin Bro
lol I was thinking the same thing! That if you turned the camera on you would not find anything. But I’m so happy you did! just wanted to let you know you made me laugh out loud when you said of course I probably won’t find anything. Made me laugh.
Nice haul!! Got 4 boxes yesterday and 20 bank rolled, found a 64 and 2 - 40%ers in the 20 rolls, found another 64 in box 1, skunked on last 3, just goes to show that it's always possible to find more silver in less than half a box than in 4 whole boxes. Wasn't expecting it but bank called this morning and I got 4 boxes in yesterday I was supposed to get last Wed, nada so far in box 1 & 2, I hit another milestone of sorts, I've searched over 1500 boxes of halves(29 months on the hunt).
Excellent finds, I wish we had access to these in Canada as well, as it semms so exciting to hunt, and silver seems quite easy to obtain, wrt other denominations. Well, still, I'm going to have one more 90% US silver by the mail! I bough a lot of Canadian silver quarters and dimes (to boost my finds...) on eBay, at a very good price (not easy to do) from a seller west in BC. There are 3 x 10 cents, and 3 x 25 cents, all 80% silver, except one of the quarters is a 1968 50% silver. Before shipping them, he apologized the 1968 was nickel instead (in 1968, quarters were 50% silver up until end August, then 100% nickel). He didn't have any other Canadian silver quarter to replace it, but he offered me 3 more silver dimes instead. By any chance, I asked if he had any US silver quarter to replace the 1968 nickel. He said no, ..., but, ... offered me a 1941 silver half dollar instead, he wanted to "get rid of". I said "Of course, I'll take it as a replacement (of the 1968 50% silve quarter). This will give me a cheap opportunity to sound test that new 1941 half, against the 4 x 90% I got in 1997 (explained in another comment earlier). The 1934 and 1941 sound identical, and the 1943 and 1963 also identical, but slightly different from the 2 old ones. I'm eager to hear how it will sound, and see in what condition it will be... Another one to add to my stack...
Wow man your so lucky! We only found 1 90% and 1 40% and the 40 is a 1966 P ender and will never open it because its a really big milestone hopefully we find more please pray for us!❤
Please tell me, are those brinks boxes? I need to know. I've been trying brinks boxes and keep getting skunked on every one. You give me hope if their brinks boxes. Thank you.
The Square Brown Boxes Double Deckers are Brinks I Believe. Its the Opposite for me I Rarely Find Any Silver in Flat Boxes Yellow Rolls Like Loomis but thats Just my Experience...
Hey Dave. I would like to hunt for silver half dollars except, my bank has a coin return machine but it will not take half dollars unless I roll them. Do you have to roll all your half dollar rolls? If not, which bank allows you to return loose half dollar coins? BTW, great video!
Dave u think I got your big brother box two weeks ago. I'm in the STL area. 69 90% 25 1964 and 44 Benji's. Then two 1967. For a total of 71 silvers and 30 rolls in the box had silver. Had 8 90% in one roll and two with 6 in the roll.

Awesome boxes! The only denomination I can find silver in is dimes! I’d be lucky if I could even get a box of circulated half dollars!
Nice score!! The most I found was 8 90% in a box years ago but not many since.

Yea Well Sometimes I Just Dont have Time and I'll Just Edge Check for Silver
Where do you get these coins? I bank with BofA and I read online that you usually just end up with newly mint coins
literally like an hour ago i had 2 boxes with enders for the first time in a while. What a coincidence!
how many silvers did you find?
@@DigginDave 2 90%s and 37 40%s
So what do you do with the coins that aren't valuable? Do you wrap them up and return it to the bank?
Hello where did u sell those silver coins?
When and why did they started making crom plated. I got my fist one this week
You seem to be more efficient when your not filming. Get a stand and use both hands. Nice silver hunt. Good for you.

I prefer looking for errors and varieties myself
