  • Thinking about buying a texture palette to help our your drybrushing game? Let's talk about a few options I found on Etsy.com and compare them to the apparently well-camouflaged Artis Opus offering.
While I try to find my Artis Opus dry palette, I tried one from JazzGeek and another from BadgerPrint. They both worked pretty well, though they did feel different enough that you will want to practice with each.
At the end of the day, each does the job very well, if slightly differently. Your choice will come down to personal preference, tolerance for international shipping, or desire to support content creators.

The thing I like about the 3d printed one is that it fits in the army painter wet palette right on top of the brush holder. Plus since it's 3d printed/plastic you should be able to strip the paint off it with alcohol and reuse it.

Good points, both! I remember buying the Army Painter wet palette, but I haven't used it in so long I don't remember if I still have it.
Have you tried stripping the texture palette? It feels a little thin and I am almost afraid it will break under vigorous scrubbing.
