I absolutely LOVED all the Count Dooku related episodes! Sure some people may be pissed that they retcon some good novels and comics, but each episode helped make his turn to the dark make more sense. And that Yaddle v Dooku fight was absolutely *AMAZING!*

*Dooku's shift from Jedi Master to the darkside was perfect with how things just caused him to make up his mind about which side he wanted to be on. His, "Master Jedi" response to Mace Windu when talking to him about Mace being placed on the Council, is one of my favorite moments in the three episodes of this series. Sheesh. I loved all six episodes all the way & I hope that we get more from this series like a Tales of the Sith maybe featuring my favorite Darth Bane or other stories. Truly hoping that happens.*

I never really thought that Sidious really bought into the Rule of Two, especially it's true intentions.
The Rule of Two was meant to limit the number of Siths to prevent infighting to guarantee their victory. It also was meant where when the student finally defeats their master, it was meant to be in a fair fight to make sure that only the strong remain and the cycle would continue.
However, Sidious himself violates the integrity and spirit of the rule by:
    1) Whacking his master while he was vulnerable. (Either he offed him in his sleep or while he was drunk or something).
    2) He took on or allowed multiple Sith apprentices after Maul (Dooku, Ventress, the Inquisitors) and made sure that none of them could ever surpass him.
    3) Later on he would eventually try to (re?)establish the Rule of One.
So in short, he's a true Sith in a way where he didn't really care about the rules and played by his own.

Of course, that makes Anakin and Luke Skywalker training siblings, and if you consider how Luke's first padawan (Ben Solo) turned out, I think Luke and Solo should be considered a branch of the Disaster Lineage Family Tree. At Master Katri's funeral, Plo Koon seems to be wearing armour on his lower arms, like gauntlets. I always thought Jedi only did this during the Clone Wars. I know in the Clone Wars, a lot of Jedi wore this kind of armour, even well known Jedi like Obi-Wan Kenobi and Mace Windu, but I don't recall ever seeing that before the time of Attack of the Clones, or even The Phantom Menace.

Maybe they did that so people didn't mistake him for a Jedi of the same species.

@@tobot303 Maybe, but I'm always looking for a canon in-universe explanation for everything. It actually looks like Saesee Tiin might be wearing them too.

Ive always sympathized and loved dooku. He’s a good person who sees the flaws in the jedi way and just wanted to do what he felt was right.

Dooku is a cautionary tale of what happens when a jedi with good intentions falls to the dark side. His actions crossed the line but his reasoning was understandable

Obi-Wan did say a variation of the "wiser than I am" line to Anakin when he was about to leave for Utapau in ROTS. Quote: "You are strong and wise Anakin, and I am very proud of you. I have trained you since you were a small boy, and you have become a far greater Jedi than I can can ever hope to be." End quote. Its just unfortune that that would be Obi-Wan and Anakin's final interaction before Anakin turns.
