Jordan Peterson talks about ambivalence all the time. I never really understood what he meant until listening to this in this context. THANK YOU !!

Thanks for this! ❤I agree about ambivalence. I have always been intolerant of the mediocre and just following when I don’t want to. I get criticism about walking away and knowing what works for me. 🤷🏼‍♀️ BUT I just CANT be a sheep. I am aware of wasting my time. It’s not in me, to be that way. I do have high expectations, I am honest. I like people a lot. I see following, people, things or doing the right thing socially that sort of ambivalence as being dishonest. So, working honestly and truthfully seems to work especially with a huge dollop of kindness and generosity. ❤ I especially like giving. People who know me well know where they stand, (know who will throw a great party 🎉or pick them up at midnight) but they don’t ask silly things of me. 🤣 infj.

As you get older..you become ambivalent..and watch your friends that you have or rather had..😊

I would ABSOLUTELY change the wording at the beginning. Because you say things "you're good at", instead of "things you love". I'd say: no. Don't go after things you're really good at, if you do not like it. People have talents for stuff they dislike. I'd say: go for the things you really love and respect, and not for the things where you're kinda half into it. But nothing to do with being good at it, I think.
