You know I hear this a lot. Frankly was bitter for a long time that my dad was always working. It wasnt until I became a father I understood he wanted to be there but he was out making sure we were provided for. I apologized to him 10 years ago and he cried. Saying thank you. You are the only one of the four who has said that. With the demands of providing when exactly are men supposed to be there? Fortunately I am one of the few that work from home remote but I am one job away from that changing. I work from home. Immensely involved still people complain. Thankfully not my wife or kid but other family members who want to put two cents in. Its crazy.
Many children don't understand why the father cannot be there even when he wants to be. But that doesn't mean that the father should not try to be there as often as possible. The real men often go unappreciated until it's too late, but we find that the adults that are able to recognize the realities that we didn't understand when we were kids often have more fulfilling lives because they don't hold that burden over their parents. In truth for black families when we start at low-income levels one or both parents have to sacrifice that time for their kids so the kids can live better lives than they did. Spend the time with your family while you can and make the memories that will last through the times that you can't be there. People always have an opinion when they have no skin in the game.
I think boys need a man figure ALL OF THE TIME!!! I understand that circumstances can play a role in the parents (biological) being together, but a healthy individual that can provide positive guidance to these young people will make a difference
That's the problem. We have too many people of adult age who's minds are still only able to understand like children, and react like children. Not being there for your son or keeping a child from their father is fully the act of adult child.

Dope conversation. Men definitely need mentorship; and not just a sports coach!
Agreed!!

Facts
They need them at EVERY age, that’s the issue now. Men wanting to pop in and out at their own convenience
💯 There's too much unwillingness to be responsible for our responsibilities
