You know I hear this a lot. Frankly was bitter for a long time that my dad was always working. It wasnt until I became a father I understood he wanted to be there but he was out making sure we were provided for. I apologized to him 10 years ago and he cried. Saying thank you. You are the only one of the four who has said that. With the demands of providing when exactly are men supposed to be there? Fortunately I am one of the few that work from home remote but I am one job away from that changing. I work from home. Immensely involved still people complain. Thankfully not my wife or kid but other family members who want to put two cents in. Its crazy.

Letting myself go was a good thing; I see it as God making sure I grew up at the same time and at the same rate as my peers. If I hadn’t gained 50 lbs and a baby pooch, I would still be in the club acting like a hot girl! My body and appearance changed when my life changed, and that’s fine. The world is superficial, but hubby is changing in his own way too… we still find one another attractive, even at 43/49 as opposed to 22/28. Just pray on your negative feelings, work on what you can, and be happy that you made it to 40‼️ We are at the age now where classmates are passing away from sickness and disease… it’s a blessing to make it to middle age ❤

My Mom did this to me. When I mo Ed out at 18yrs old. I found out that there was a phone bill in my name. The phone company knee I was a minor when the acct was opened and wouldn't relinquish the debt. Instead, they gave me the choice of paying the debt or pressing charges against my Mother. I went without a phone & put a freeze on my credit. I, later, found out that my Mother was a narcissist and that she's hated me since I was a child. Which explained why she was highly abusive towards me for as long as I remember. I made a point not to do that to my own kids.

I don’t agree with her using her kids credit but I understand where she coming from by saying she struggled with them. My kids father was has never helped and everything is on me. I’m in the process of trying to go the legal route but in the end I already know it won’t be worth it. Everybody says put them on child support but it doesn’t fit the damage that’s already been done. Also my kids ask for a father/daddy every other day. It breaks my heart because I was in the same situation as a child but I’m going to be here for them sticking it out through thick and thin. I’m going to supply and be by their side with God. Trying to date is a no go because I’m still trying to figure out where I went wrong with their dad but that is a whole another story. I blame myself but then again it’s not fair to me. Because there were things I looked over but out of survival mood. I felt like the whole time I was preparing a way out especially after a certain point. I made it out with my life and my beautiful children. In the beginning I wanted to just terminate but then I talked to God about it because I wanted kids just in not the way it happened. I prayed because prior to meeting him I lost all of my previous pregnancies. So when it came down to it I kept my first child and had no clue I was pregnant a second time until I was very well out of the situation. I had my own place went I meet him, which he completely destroyed along with my belongings. Once it was all said and done I was living back with my mom, but I was safe and alive. I said all that to say I don’t want my kids to have to deal with everything I did. At the same time they already are now. It breaks my heart because I cried as a child not understanding why dad was not there and why he was this was and why doesn’t he do this for me. However as an adult I already knew the answers just had to grow up to remember or understand to the fullest extent. The difference in the two situations was my mom tried to stay around at first not having much power or understanding of the situation or the means to leave. On the other hand I had made my mind up to never let them be in a bad situation or still in that type of environment growing up. It’s hard but I know it will pay off in due time. The main things I sacrifice is my health and well-being. I’m always stressed out and don’t see the light at the end of the tunnel. However my kids have a rooftop maybe not a bed to sleep in of their own yet… but in due time. I have a 18 month and 2 going on 3 year old. We are alive and they are healthy. I will always thank God for covering us.
