    Wonderful expansion of what finger food can be.
    Wait...that's a half dish? I think NFL teams must be their main clientele if that's the case.
    4:53 The Greg eye-bug. You could do a whole retrospective episode just on those instances. Jumi got close at 5:20...but not the whole way.
    Oh, and the early Coltrane-style sound for the poison pasta (which looks awesome)...love that sound as well as what looks awesome.

    man i hope Linda brought you to Parit Raja which is nearer to Kluang first, but Batu Pahat still ok haha, Parit Raja also has many legendary eating places, definitely try checking it out, its a haven for students around the area even though no students now, cheap and incredible food, with rm3 can eat till full, if wan more varieties, at most you only need spend rm5, if wan up a bit more it wont even burst your wallet, i definitely miss it there

    The first place, was it basmati rice? It made me hungry for the Indian rice with the white raisins.
    The second; ohhh WOW! That fish dish!!! Every time you said; fish head, I thought grouper cheeks!! LOL!!
    Really liked the veggies in the noodle dish. For some reason, I am surprised at lamb being a dish there. Goes to show how much I appreciate your channel!!

    • @FoodandFootprints
      @FoodandFootprints  3 года назад +1

      Believe it was basmati rice! Definitely long grain. This one was on the sweeter side, even without having raisins.
      Fish head is so good! Love the cheek meat too.
      It was really interesting to have that big gearbox in there with the sweet and spicy gravy for the noodles along with the veggies. We appreciate getting our veggies in whenever possible 😂

      @Yasin_Affandi 3 года назад +1

      I have not had d acar buah for sometime now. My late fren n her late mom made d best acar buah. She would used plenty of sweetened dried fruit, lots of dry chillies powder n ground spices n it can last very long. It's more dark in color n thicker consistency, almost like a delicious mix dried fruit chutney.

    The 'Shah Nasi Beriani' at Benteng you visited are very popular makan place. I stay around Kampong Bintang, Peserai. It's about less than 10 minutes drive to reach there. But I don't often eat there.
