@@Fusion_4000 Yes. Hacksmith's is basically a long flame. So, if you and your opponent have 2 lightsabers like that, and use them in a duel, the lightsabers instead of colliding will cut straight through each other and also cut your opponent in half.

In a video of lightsabers colors says there is a symbolic meaning for them all. Blue is pure good, green is the philosophy of The Force, purple is exploring the dark side without being corrupted. White is for redemption of using Force Healing on a red, the list goes on.

Roughly quoting here, but the Mandalorians would bullets against Jedi, because if a bullet is deflected with a lightsaber, it would essentially explode into shrapnel, killing the Jedi anyway. This usage ended up getting ballistics banned across the known universe -- though one could argue that blasters (with increased "ammo" capacity and their lightweight nature) are situationally more useful.

Okay, this is the best What If video I’ve ever watched, as I have been a Star Wars fan since I was little. :)
If you think about it, there might be a few galaxies in our observable universe that most likely have what we see on Star Wars
You can have the same effect of color without a certain temperature, just add elements. Potassium chloride: Makes a purple flame. Copper chloride: Makes a blue flame.
Copper sulfate: Makes a green flame.
Strontium chloride: Makes a red flame. You add these elements to fire and they change the color. Other elements could make white, pink, orange.... Chemistry 😅

5:00 The stuff with temperatures and colors is way off. Even though it can also work that way, a way easier solution is to just change the gases which form the plasma (xeon = blue, argon = pink and much more) thus not making compromises on the power / speed of melting stuff of that plasma/light saber. You can google for what color do different gases have when they are in a plasma state.
