Yeah!! What a genius idea!!
It's crazy how convenient the lightsaber was in that oddly specific situation.
Gallium actually melts at just above room temp, meaning that if you hold it in your hand, it will start to melt. I think they melted it with a lightsaber purely for speed, or for eccentricity.
@@dogemanbacon wait who?
9:36 “Great job guys, I’m gonna have a smoke if you don’t mind.”
Thank you Jimmy and hacksmith related teams/people for acting as sources of ideas and inspirations for me, Raza :)
My takeaway from the video: if the contestants had been savvy, they could have saved a ton of time by just shoving their safe over instead of melting the gallium!
Find a person who would prefer knocking something over instead of getting to use an actual lightsaber.
@@benjacobsen9251 If a lot of money was on the line...
@@MaxLennon Not happening. I'd rather use the lightsaber and lose the chance to get a fuck ton of money than not use it.

That door repair reminds me of the stories Adam Savage sometimes tells of the old days at Industrial Light and Magic. You guys literally fixed days of work in minutes to make the scene happen with nothing but the tools on hand. As bad as the mistake was, you need to also take some confidence from this.
That was such a clutch process to repair that door, straight out of a movie scene hahaha great thinking from everyone !!!
the day they make a double bladed lightsaber, I know the world is gonna end.
5:25 I love how Chandler looks worried
It's honestly so interesting you guys fixed it, I'm sure most people would've been like "well...fuck" and just given up
The Cross over we didn't expect but always needed

It was inevitable.

4:50 Ayo MrBeast 😂😂
F in the chat for Hacksmith, he worked so hard for two weeks to make a lightsaber for him, and MrBeast didn’t even the like the video so he put it on Ludwig’s channel I feel so bad 😭😭😭
Yes bro that's kinda sad.

Thanks for mentioning that, because I couldn’t find the video
Ludwig uploaded it so it exists just not on mr beast’s channel

2 years ago hacksmith said “in the future we are making a plasma based retractable lightsaber and letting a *very famous youtuber* try it out”
damn nice heart for such a late comment, proves they care about their viewers and what they have to say, respect that.
If you're wondering where Mr Beast's video is, it's not on his channel. Jimmy spent over a million dollars on the video and then scrapped it because it didn't end up meeting his incredibly high standards.
i wish it was released though, would love to see it

Making an NFT of the protosaber... You disappoint me, Hacksmith.
