- I have edited this video to show all the cricket fans the Story of Sydney Test 2008 - Sydneygate Scandal and Shameful Umpiring.
It may be considered as the revival of India Cricket. After It India won the 3rd Test at Perth.
This test was full of controversies i.e the Monkeygate scandal between bhajji and symonds and the hearing where Sachin was called. And Steve Bucknor bad umpiring. MS Dhoni and Ishant Sharma were not happy when Symonds was not given out. Rahul Dravid was given out catch behind when he has not touched it. Sourav Ganguly was caught at slip by Michael Clarke and he stood his ground and eventually Ricky Ponting gave it out. And the Famous last over of Michael Clarke. A dramatic and eventful Test to say the least.

Now we understand, why the attitude of Virat Kohli is required as a captain.
Attitude of Sourav Ganguly was as aggressive as Kohli..but he was not a captain in this match. Anil Kumble was the captain.

Bucknor s poor umpiring is summed up by two moments which stand out. One the symond edge that everyone but bucknor heard, the 2nd was a stumping where didnt even bother going to third umpire when symond foot was on the line. Dhoni s puzzled look said it all.
