You are not alone. The ST:TOS theme was the recessional music at a friend's funeral in 2015; it was deeply moving, and I often think I should arrange for the same (with the Voyager theme for the prelude).
I just came from giving up listening to the 'Star Trek Day' offering and saw your video, so thought would listen, with no high hopes, but you (collective-ly) were fantastic, you saved my evening, and so nice to hear a new arrangement. and that little incidental piece, brilliant, the technical difficulties involved..the only thing missing was the applause, I honestly was smiling, do another, make it so :-D
I don't know how you made this sound so good doing it remotely, but kudos to every single one of you! I can't even master the triangle, so I have the upmost respect for you all.
Bravo to everyone who contributed to this work; you should all be justly and fully proud of the results. You brought tears to this old trekkie's eyes! Again, thank you one and all!
Wow I didn't expect that! how the hell did you do it? And missing a full horn , brass and tuba section too. The horn was particularly good, full rich sound like a full section. It was like I was in the movies. Really blew me away. Wonderful. Terrific arrangement. Edit / additional comments: I have watched this 15x and everytime I am blown away as I appreciate more and more the talent of everyone involved. The Video work was monumental and made the single instruments sound like a full section. The violins with their high speed fingers was brilliant, gorgeous. Trumpet was a standout. The horn was from Hollywood for sure, gorgeous tone like the best ever, Trombone had that deep raspy bass. Flute was wonderful - I mean, I could go on and on as I am drawn to this piece like a magnet. The composer / arranger did an excellent job - made it work. What can I say? You guys should be on America's got talent - and take first place without question.
What an absolutely beautiful arrangement and performance. As for what else you could have added, definitely Voyager. I also like Michael Giacchino’s theme for the Kelvin timeline movies. For me, nothing tops James Horner’s theme for Wrath of Khan - it is sweeping, grand and moving, and it has the best integration of Alexander Courage’s original theme. You all played it magnificently.
Wow!!! Found your Medley just now...AMAZING!!! It shivers down the spine! Must play it on my HIFI next opportunity! So amazing!!! Thank you for this over the top performance!!! Greetings from Germany and stay healthy!
My first thought was, ah... movie medly... then DS9 showed up so I expected TNG and Voyager and perhaps Enterprise. While the performaces were amazing, the selection has be baffled.
THIS! OMG THIS! In my country we have a saying…”this is the absolute dogs bollocks”. It’s a powerful way of saying something is good in the vernacular. And it pertains to this video! Most emphatically. I’m sharing the hell out of this where I can. And very well done, to all who participated.
Que bom encontrar um conterrâneo. Também sou de São José dos Campos. Muito boa a apresentação. Sou um fã de jornadas nas estrelas desde criança e acompanho tudo que tem à ver com o universo star trek.
Absolutely STUNNING!!!!! Truly out-of-this-world!!!! All of the members of this wonderful group need to be strongly applauded!!! Well done!!!! Thank you so much!
I watched Star Trek when I was a kid in the 60's and I've listened to this music ever since. These wonderfully talented musicians brought that music, the music that I love so much, to life. Their performance was simply wonderful! My thanks to everyone! I keep listening to this over, and over again, and it is bringing tears of joy to my eyes, it fills my heart, and it lifts my spirit.
This is Emotional and Amazing ... thank you to each and everyone of you... from a long time Trekkie from when it started ... this has Truly made me cry ... xx ..
I would certainly like to see how the sound was engineered for this. It sounds like studio work, but how did you deal with different rooms, different mics, network latency, and a dozen other things?
I cannot imagine how difficult it was to make all this happen, but I am so grateful to you all. This brought tears to my eyes, not jsut because it was so beautiful, but also because in these troubled times when we have had to distance ourselves form once another, I am so moved by the desire to create art that embodies the ethos of Star Trek, that we humans are capable of nobility and grace, even when things are at their worst. And lastly as someone who watched Star Trek The Original Series as a kid on NBC from 1966-1969, it fills my heart that Gene Roddenberry's philosophy and artistry is being taken up by generations who were not even born when all this started. Again, thank you. Live long and proper!
This is great! At the same time, I found myself wanting to hear bad acoustics, to make it sound as real as possible, like a genuine battle against the odds, a unique sound you cannot hear in a concert hall. Still loved it though!
this was Excellent!! I remember going to the theater for each one of the movies and when spock died at the end of II there were people balling hard. the music brings back so many memories
Where I live. we spell it "bawling", but I know what you meant. The first time I saw that scene...omg, I was absolutely demolished...I'm glad I was with a close friend who understood, and whom I could trust not to rat me out to our boss for crying at a movie.
Wow amazing medley. Nicely played. If I would say dinner criticism is should have doubbled all winds and brass to say least 2 parts and it's lots of echo
Bravo!! So well done. Sounds just as professional as the original Hollywood scores. Thanks and congrats! I was happy to see Bill Shatner make it up into space. I look forward to the day when many, many more of us get the chance to make that trip up to visit the final frontier. Live long and prosper.
a very lovely melody and most likely a real difficult arrangement and video from Luciano Williamson and enjoyable mixed arrangement id love to see this in a performance :)
Almost a decade ago, my girlfriend took me to Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses. When the theme of the "Dark World" came on, I couldn't help but squeal towards her "They're doing it, they're doing it!!!", but very quietly. While I wished it had Voyager and other themes, gosh. This is an AMAZING accomplishment. Proof that when humanity has its back against the wall, it shines through.
Your cover of the First Contact theme made me weep openly while riding a bus... if only I'd been blasting it at full volume from a jam box....
You’re the guy in “Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home”!!! 🤣
Dang Voyage home / Picard S2 references
What a beautiful hunk of music
It's silly but I will have this played on my funeral. Onto the next great adventure 😁😎😺😁
You are not alone.

all this remotely? hats off to everyone involved!
I LOVE that you used the extended "end credits" version of the TOS theme, with the more complex melody and all that. Really wonderful job!
Wow! Brilliant!! Loved this! Thanks so much for all your efforts!
Love the arrangment of first contact.
You even included Fred Steiner! Thank you! It almost makes up for leaving off Voyager. Also thank you for the Leonard Rosenman love!
I love this so much
Truly awesome.
AWESOME!!!!!!
I love how you segwayed from startrek to the motion picture beautifully done
Deep Space Nine theme is so 90s I love it!

Immense.
i love you / yo os quiero
Just one observation..... the vocalist is missing from the Alexander Courage score....."WHY?"
I don't know how you made this sound so good doing it remotely, but kudos to every single one of you! I can't even master the triangle, so I have the upmost respect for you all.
More cowbell =P Couldn't resist =) Absolutely beautiful. Thank you for sharing
Alot.of.practise I'd say. But they did it so well.
Talent. And editing. Just keeping it real.😅
Bravo to everyone who contributed to this work; you should all be justly and fully proud of the results. You brought tears to this old trekkie's eyes! Again, thank you one and all!

The fact that you can get a full orchestra sound out of 21 musicians is astonishing! BRAVO!
Wow!!! Found your Medley just now...AMAZING!!! It shivers down the spine! Must play it on my HIFI next opportunity! So amazing!!! Thank you for this over the top performance!!! Greetings from Germany and stay healthy!
Would love to have heard Voyager in there, and Picard..!
My first thought was, ah... movie medly... then DS9 showed up so I expected TNG and Voyager and perhaps Enterprise. While the performaces were amazing, the selection has be baffled.
But I’m sure you’re all grateful for all the hard work that went into all this. Wasn’t it just amazing.
Voyager is my favorite theme, so I always want it, but every measure of this was an utter joy. 🥰
With 20 musicians, they sound better than most of the scores recorded today. Brilliant arrangement and performance.
Wow! Just wow!
Let's make sure history never forgets the name Enterprise.
Man.. I had goosebumps throughout the whole thing... Great job.
I had to replay that over and over again!!! I loved it that much,, good job you guys,,,.,..,.,.kent
omg, i love it!! got tears in my eyes...
Absolutely beautifully done. Outstanding job by all. Literal goosebumps during most of this but really during First Contact theme. Bravo to you all!
Es un privilegio escuchar esta versión musical de la más mítica serie, jamás igualada, viva Star Trek.

As sick as I am, your conducting of the orchestra of Star Trek made me feel much better! Bravo!!!
Wow. Bravo. Thanks for the new
Insight into my favorite show.
I am crying,thx very much.
First Contact is goosebump inducing.

8:34 just amazing...one of the best
This is great! At the same time, I found myself wanting to hear bad acoustics, to make it sound as real as possible, like a genuine battle against the odds, a unique sound you cannot hear in a concert hall. Still loved it though!
This effort was on full impulse power.
EXCELENTE.

Upvotey for remembering the bongos. _\\//. LLAP.
I heard the applause in my head at the end until I realized I wasn't hearing it
Excellent sound quality. This combination of musical and technical skills...Lt Uhura would be proud!
I'm watching this on 2nd Friday after Queen Elizabeth's death, got to first contact and that just brought it home, she's really gone......
Wow amazing medley. Nicely played. If I would say dinner criticism is should have doubbled all winds and brass to say least 2 parts and it's lots of echo

You all "FANTASTIC " would like to see more Star Trek. Thanks 😊
Say what you will about TikTok, but that app has been a gift for collaborators during the pandemic
This is simply awesome....💐💐💐
Fabulous! Really amazingly well done, kudos to everyone!
You should have played Archer's theme from Enterprise as well
That was fantastic. Thanks for all the time you spent making it happen.
So powerfull, so beautyful, i'm, in the space and with no tequila
Well done. Thank you.
it's just amazing.

Awesome - I want to join in - let me know when you all do something that requires harp!!
Missed Voyager, their theme won an actual Emmy.
This is beautiful.

You couldn‘t find anyone with a theremin? ;)

Bravissimi .My heart Thanks You 😊
😍❤️❤️❤️ wonderful music
It's so amazing. I love to hear that over and over again. Thank you for this outstanding performance.
The TMP Main Title sounded more like the First Season Main Title of The Next Generation
Agreed.
That's because the TNG theme was directly derived FROM the TMP Main Title.
I love it. Bring back so many memories.
Wow well done this was amazing
Amazing, just, AMAZING!!!
Yes, I would have loved to hear the them from TAS!
