That overtake from kimi was pure class. Ok is on Latifi but still amazing. I wanted kimi in the 2022 Alfa with bottas, so sad when he retired. Congrats man on the 100k sub, best f1 content on yt
One of the most incredible overtakes I've seen in recent years. The degree of difficulty around the outside of Pouhon, with the fuel tank fully filled and the tyres weren't optimal...
@@berkhanogulcanakcay7336 David Coulthard was everywhere that race and even finished without his T Camera on top of the car. They just uploaded an extended version of the highlights on the main F1 channel if you want a refresher, it's a good race, worth the watch.
These details show the amount of raw talent and experience, you'll never lose it with age. Kimi had both of them to do it like Hamilton on a slower car. With this said, I would really love to be able to make Pouhon at 284 kph like Antonio. I would be already happy to have that ability.😅😂
just can't forget Kimi pushing through pouhon during the race in 2002 behind Schumacher to almost loose it with no asphalt on the run off area. Great save then
Kimi in an Alfa matching a Mercedes is like comparing Yourself in a 100 Sprint to Usain Bolt. There's just no comparison - the W11 has at least 2pts more downforce and the fact Kimi is matching is just Insane
that was insane how in the 2020 sauber he can go neck and neck with lewis in the W11. we often talk about how insane the W11 was at pouhon but i never knew that kimi was only 1 km/h slower and almost flat. both the old boys had the balls to go flat
Well no..In a W11 you have least 2pts more downforce meaning it would be Much easier. To do it in an Alfa requires bowling ball sized gonads. In the overtake on the Williams you see the amount of on edge input he has to make...Kimi is an absolute magician at SPA
Congrats for the 100k subs 🎉🎉 The most deserved silver button among all channel I've subscribed to. You've came such a long way to promote technical sides of F1 in the simplest way possible, you deserve every single bit of your hardwork. 🙌🏻
Being nearly as fast through Pouhon despite a small lift is an interesting detail & something unusual, as differences are usually noticeable between lifting & full-throttle through the same given corner.
Pouhon is off-camber and downhill, two things that make corners slower than they otherwise would be. Taking it at 290+ flat out or nearly so makes absolutely no sense. Not only that, but also Spa requires a lower downforce setup too. CRAZY.
people throw this word around a lot nowadays but kimi is ACTUALLY the most underrated f1 driver ever.He just didn't give enough fucks to try an chase some f1 records to put himself in an all time great list.Compared to any other 1 time world champ in f1 he is miles ahead
He was almost always unlucky at Spa during his 2nd F1 stint. Brake failure in 2013, qualy issue in 2015, first corner crashes in 2016 and 2019... And he should've been in the fight for the win in 2018, but Ferrari had the brilliant idea of not fuelling his car for a final Q3 run.

Almost won 5 straight races at Spa from 04-09

The true King of Spa.
His 2004 legendary win on pure pace with a sh*tty McLaren says it all.
That “shitty McLaren“ was easily the best car that weekend in 04.

"Bwoah, car may be a shitbox but I am still king of Spa" - Kimi 2021
Crazy overtake, such a talent required. A normal driver would have closed the door immediately but you can see he was cautious
0:34 Kimi gets on the throttle so early there it’s a joke
