Seriously how could anybody not know that was an insurance job. You have a truck with “one off everything” with no useable parts for any other vehicle.
That’s not even what made it an obvious insurance job, the previous owner doing this before was a dead giveaway 😂
@KDlGG and using your other personal truck to steal your money pit truck wasn't too well thought out. Could of rented a truck and removed plates.. could of done many simple things but he didn't. Glad he got caught as insurance rates are getting high .

I'll never understand low-profile rims on a truck. Looks ugly and deletes shock absorption from the tires.
It’s just for show, if you want mud tires go buy a tractor everything serves its own purpose in the right hands aka owners

@@jefferystillwell2121 I could see air bags helping but I don't think they could fully make up for having that rolling cushion of air in direct contact with the road. Not sure but good point.

Dude got so mad in the Facebook comments, like dog thats cool you built a "Sema Truck", but still doesnt take away that it was a garbage build 😂. Alot of people there actually have a time crunch on their builds (doing them on time) this shmuck started late, half assed it, and then got butthurt when people pointed out how its half assed. Do it right or dont do it at all, building a vehicle for Semas as cool as joining the special olympics without a disability, its not lmao.
Those people of Facebook have have no hope for this truck, it is entertaining to read. I have seen cars/trucks on RUclips which where in a way more horrific shape and at the end they looked mint once more.
Literally the same dodge that pulled it to the paint shop is the one in the store open video camera footage lol

Dunno how I got here but def a zesty rig. Gotta love the builders ambition and I guess yers too. I am too old to get a "SEMA" build myself but you do you. Hopefully you will do something you enjoy vs what anyone else thinks.

Always thought SEMA trucks were the stupidest, ugliest things ever made. And I've seen the Cybertruck.
In the pictures of the crash the truck wasn't even painted just wrapped that just makes the truck more of a hack.
The “thief” took the aftermarket gold hood and put the stocker back on so it’s paint but I agree about wraps lol
Calling ctv, global and cbc "media" is very generous however I am glad this truck is getting a new chance at life

before realizing who actually "stole" it, I was thinking why in the hell would some thieves take a showroom/mall crawling "stolen" truck to a well known off road spot? i kind of thought maybe someone really just hated that truck, so they rolled it of the side of the mountain. and i guess that was still pretty true. just wasnt thieves..

1:30 Sorta was his fault. Is standard for any custom build the issues they experienced and not giving enough time and trying to re-engineer precise suspension systems.
I mean, supplier issues are a legitimate thing, but the stuff said in that post shared sound ultimately like builder issues.

Why would anyone pay that for a truck that was ruined during the build process? Gimmicks and gadgets are only good for just the sema show. They are not usable at all. I subscribe to idea that it is your truck do as you will. But there’s a reason those trucks are sold after sema and never driven.

Builds like this are typical for show cars. Friend of my brothers bought an ex-showcar that won lots of awards till it was retired and used as a road car for 4 years before the friend swapped it and paid cash on his car. He intended to fix it up again but doing the bodywork discovered the huge amount of body filler in it and dodgy work. He ended up just trying to fix it so it could be drivable. The engine didn't even run right because they took the goodies off it, but he got that all put back on. The body was the biggest problem as it really needed a new factory shell.

Just to let you know they make 32 inch wheels and most end up on Monte Carlo's or some weird Lexus x-overs, but thats all I have seen on cars so far. But they make them up to 34 inch wheels

It’s been in a few of them but essentially I’ve had it for at least 10 years, driven it in the Stampede Parade 3 years, blew the engine in the Royal Rally 4 or so years ago and it’s been sitting waiting for a heart transplant since lol I’ll get to it eventually
