This is how they should be! I can’t believe Hinderer charges what he does for flat grinds on such thick stock. He’s not the only one doing it but you’re just not going to get much sharpening life out of them, which is disappointing for the premium price tag
Great video Doody. I am sending my spanto in for a regrind. Did you have to ask BGM to keep at Hinderer laser etched words and logo alone, ie start the regrind lower? His regrind video he regrind sit higher taking off the the blade steel laser etch?
What's funny about it hinderer swears up and down the spanto is for prying but on their website if you use it that way warranty is automatically void. He's probably has the worst warranty in the industry.

No I didn’t say anything about that to him, but you may want to ask him just to be sure. That’s awesome man, you’ll be so happy with it!
