@@LyonsArcade No, they also had it at Daly City Party Playhouse before they closed down. Maybe a couple other places, but that and CEC are the only places I clearly remember having this game.
I remember playing on one of these back In the mid 2000s. I loved playing this at Fun City. It was such a different and better time, I wish I could back and stay like that forever.
In chuck e cheese,We needed to put tokens even when you run out of time and want another chance. And you use the speed orbs or powerup, you use it right away.
mercuriofx - yeah it's kind of a weird design how you can run out of time in the middle of the race, but then add credits to keep going from right there.
Very cool Richard. Since this was run on a computer inside the game, I wonder if it was basically the same game you worked on, just with some different text, etc. ?
I remember that a Double Dave's in my hometown had this machine. Unfortunately, the restaurant ended up closing. Funny enough, there was also a Fuddruckers near me that had this and later had Nicktoons Nitro for a short period of time.
This arcade game is at my local arcade in Erie, PA called Play Port, I am convinced the cabinet came from the local Chuck E. Cheese’s and was purchased by the owner of Play Port once CEC got rid of it, and now it ended up there. Most of the games at Play Port are set to free to play since it costs about $10 to play whatever you want for as long as you want, the game is actually fun but sometimes the controls can be a bit messy, especially when you get stuck in areas a lot. I also know this was the first video game to feature Spongebob.
This game came out for the Gameboy in 1999 and the PlayStation version was 2000 and in 2001 was the PC release and in 2002 it was license for the Gameboy Advance and one more thing Mario Kart arcade GP didn't come out until 2005
Joe's Classic Video Games wow you responded quickly I love your videos about arcade machines I only have a couple 1ups right now but it’s awesome looking at them in your videos and can I ask what your favorite machine you own is
Joe's Classic Video Games I just located one of these arcade games and my state I'm going to try to purchase it sometime in the middle of this month of 01/2018 due to our bad weather it makes it complicated to pick up, because we only have a open trailer.
Makes sense that the console's just running Windows XP under there. I used to own the PC version of this game, and aside from the lack of a time limit and a more accessible menu, it was point-for-point the same game.
Never seen the arcade machine before. And for what it is, it is a direct port of the original PC and PS1 game straight to the arcade, which was rather a very lacking and no-frills game, but as a fan of the Nicktoons that I was back when the PS1 game came out, I had to play it.
This game is so based! I was just talking about it on stream and pulled up this video to prove that it existed! The cabinet version was actually an updated version of the PS1 game with new dialogue, uncompressed graphics, and I think new tracks. It also spoiled who the mystery rider was. I just wish someone managed to "totally legally" extract the assets from the cabinet version to release a "remastered" remake of the game for console/PC (: The best way to describe the game is that its literally Mario Kart with a Nickelodeon skin. You can tell which special ability are which the first time you play it when comparing it to Mario Kart. I actually like it more than Mario Kart to be honest. I think you can find another cabinet of this at Seaside Heights, NJ (the boardwalk).
MAN this game :L i always see them at holiday sites always broken never played it before (again another rare gem) ! :L i prefer the wacky racers arcade :) ---if you could find that about dirt cheap do a review :)
UK ARCADES It's a computer based game so sometimes those aren't as reliable. We've had some problems with the steering pot before too, so maybe that's why they're always broke near you... if we run across a Wacky Racers, we'll do a video!
we used to have one at our local pizza hut BUT they remodeled it for certain reasons I think they still have it but it probably unplugged and collecting dust
+sheepsnoop shep Sorry, we already sold it... basically it had a computer inside it. Inside the coin door was a keyboard mounted on the left of the cabinet, but in such a way that you could easily reach the F1 key, which took you into the menu. There was also a mouse mounted in there, when the settings menu came up, the game froze and the screen would pop up, it was just a menu screen like you see in windows programs, very simple with several different boxes you could turn on or off, and a test menu where you could test all the switches and pots. You could change the difficulty percentage of each track, too.
This was one of my childhood games right here! Straight from Chuck E. Cheeses lol It's nostalgic
This might be the VERY ONE you used to play!
man I always used to play it at chuck e cheese!
I'm starting to think that's the only place it was!
Well not exactly a long time ago they had it at cj barimores but they got rid of it.
Me too, didn't play it to much since I was to young to understand it though.

SAME.

I remember when an arcade place had It, it was awesome, it sucks the arcade here was closed :(
Had no idea this existed. Once again, thanks for the video!!
No problem, we're trying to document these suckers so they live forever :)
Wow I remember that game, its one of the classic racing games, the new generation of kids probably don't know about that game
I know, young whipper snappers!

In chuck e cheese it uses 2 buttons while this version in this video uses 4 buttons and one lever
I worked on the home versions of this but never got to play the arcade version
Very cool Richard. Since this was run on a computer inside the game, I wonder if it was basically the same game you worked on, just with some different text, etc. ?
Yeah. i thought the same. Does it have any credits after completion?
I believe it did, but I don't have it anymore so can't check unfortunately.
No prob. From your video it looks like it ran really smoothly. The Playstation was more choppy
Shit... That was an ARCADE MACHINE?
I thought is was only on the home consoles.
Who knew.
Glad i know.... and knowing is half the battle.
That's true!
I remember that a Double Dave's in my hometown had this machine. Unfortunately, the restaurant ended up closing. Funny enough, there was also a Fuddruckers near me that had this and later had Nicktoons Nitro for a short period of time.
I've never heard of Double Dave's but I know Fuddruckers very well :)
+Joe's Classic Video Games Double Dave's is a pizza place that has a couple of arcade machines. I'm not sure if it's a Texas-only thing.
They should remake this game but with other classic characters and items
They did a 'nitro' version like a year or two later but yeah it needs an update....

+Michael Scott Was it at Chuck E Cheeses, or do you mean the home version?
+LyonsArcade it was chuck e cheese
Fun memories for playing that
definitely!
This was at a bowling place that used to be near me, it closed like 10 years ago but I could never forget how distinct it was
look man the characters are: wild hornbarry, spongebob, catdog, rugrats, and angery beavers.
my chuck e cheese has this

This is the version I played.
We want to get the Nitro one in to film too but haven't came across one yet.
Some chuck e cheeses have a 200s version with new cartoons like fairly odd parents and more
I heard about that, I think it's called "Nitro" ?
Surprised it still works... Nice
So far, so good!
This game came out for the Gameboy in 1999 and the PlayStation version was 2000 and in 2001 was the PC release and in 2002 it was license for the Gameboy Advance and one more thing Mario Kart arcade GP didn't come out until 2005
That sounds right to me!
I played this at the hotel at bush gardens they had a free play arcade small but good I remember enjoying this game
It was pretty fun, I want to get the Nitro version in one of these days and do a video of it too!

It's the only one we ever had. We're still trying to find the sequel.....

I'm getting the impression that it was ONLY operated at Chuck-e Cheeses, nobody else has mentioned seeing it anywhere else!

I found it at one of the boardwalks in New Jersey once
only if I do saw it, and I'm thinking: "Yeah, this is pretty cool."
Ok quick question...
Dose it play better or worse than
MARIO KART?
Just asking..
I haven't played the arcade version of Mario Kart unfortunately.
@SonGoku 522 Are you correcting me about something I'm right about and you're ignorant of? Doesn't that make you wrong.... twice?
SonGoku 522 there is Mario kart arcade gp
Off topic but bro is the jolliest person playing this game

I remembered seeing this arcade game in a mall when I was a little kid
I remember this at chucky cheeses when i was a kid id be surpised if it is still there but now i can't get into there.
They made a sequel, I'll bet that one's still there...
I played this at a Chuck E. Cheese in like 2006 and iirc it stayed there until like 2015.
My local CEC used to have this!
This might be the same one that was in there!
Have this on CD-rom win 98 1999 came out that year.
Very cool :)
This is a classic to me
It's the only one I've ever seen, they don't pop up that much!
It should have come with one of those gas pedals shaped like a foot.
I want the loud house casagrandes and fairly oddparents will in this one
Thank you for watching Jose!
I all Always Played In Chuck E Cheese And Peter Piper Pizza From The Nicktoons Racing Arcade Game

Yeah Me Two. But There's A One Thing. They Still Have Nicktoons Racing Arcade Game From Peter Piper Pizza From The Mall In the New Mexico Country

I knew that it ran Windows XP. I wonder if the arcade game itself can run on Windows 10, like the Need For Speed Carbon Arcade game.
The one at my local Chuck E Cheese’s ran Windows 98.
The Action League in their Action Mobile could've came more than Rocko.
Rick love my favorite game nick toons racing
we used to have one at our local pizza hut BUT they remodeled it for certain reasons I think they still have it but it probably unplugged and collecting dust
or sold
