@@nucleoknight there will be a new layer named "stroke" in layer's collection panel on top right, select that stroke layer....then you'll be able to select draw mode.
Make sure your grease pencil object is selected. Go to the top of the page where you see object mode and click on it for the drop down menu and change it to draw mode
do you mean to say that to do this i will have to draw over every 3rd frame?
It really depends on you. Depending on how fluid you want your animation. More drawing would get a lot more fluid animation
