I am just digging the Brothers. I am watching as much of their stuff as I have time for. As a Black man (62yrs) watching this video, this guys are not faking it, they are totally in their element. I like to watch Bobby when he physically gets all into his songs.
No one could outshine Bobby, his extraordinary voice, that beautiful smile, the way he moved and interacted with everyone was a fantasy in motion! Rest in peace Bobby, always in my heart, wish I'd had the chance to see you live😔

Bill is vastly underrated. It's a crime that his solo albums are not remastered and rereleased as CDs. A Song For You, in particular, is outstanding. Right Here and Now is great, too.

No one can touch them, in those days there was REAL TALENT! No gimmicks, no whore's, no showing your crotch. Just pure talent. God, I miss those days. Thank you Bill and Bobby.
Bill Medley is the white Ray Charles, imo…these guys have been among my favs since 1964, when I was 16/17 yrs old and discovered them on the radio in W. Upstate NY…❤❤❤❤…thanks sooo much for sharing…💯❤️🫂
I remember when this ran and we couldn't believe how good it was. Shindig didn't hit higher than the Blossoms and the Righteous Bros. Some people were shocked that white boys and black gals were singing such hot, sexy songs together on TV.
@@garyeaton5719 It was at this time (0r a little later) when Weil and Mann wrote this for Bill. When Mann took Brown Eyed Woman to him to ask if he would be comfortable singing it, Darleen Love walked out of the kitchen and Mann said "I'll take that as a yes."

When it came time to record Brown Eyed Woman he wasn't happy with how it was going. When they moved Darlene right in front of him, he sang it directly to her and it really worked. I have always loved this song but watching the video only intensifies my feelings. I'm going to say it and feel free to disagree. Bill Medley in my opinion is truly one of the best R&B/Soul singers ever. The Righteous Brothers were one of the greatest duos of that era....
