Such a wonderful clip, wonderful years and great entertainment. Bobby Hatfield is a charmer, master singer and funny as all get out.

What a gem of a clip! I couldn't take my eyes off of Bobby, he was so darn handsome and funny! And what a voice! When Bill and Andy stopped and stared at Bobby I couldn't stop laughing! So much fun and it's wholesome and family friendly. Bring back those days!

He stopped Andy in his tracks and Bill cracked up. Bobby was like a little kid sometimes. So funny! All three men, legendary talents, having a great time, and giving us one too.

Thank You -- you are a hero for making this available again on RUclips (after I've been navigating around another site), especially for Righteous Brothers fans. Now all three of the songs they performed on The Andy Williams Show on Oct 25, 1965 are available. They performed them immediately one after another. "Look At Me" is fun though it shows off their duet singing talents. Then they chatted with Andy Williams offering some information though some stage play which was misleading about the next song. Bobby Hatfield sang this next song with his original group The Variations and "had that one in my pocket". He had the challenge of stage fright when performing, he had a cold that day, and his mother was in the audience for her first time seeing him perform professionally. He had rehearsed and arranged with the professional Andy Williams Show orchestra. He then per-form-ed "Unchained Melody": the epic iconic classic masterpiece performance. And then Bill Medley and Andy Williams came back on stage with him and they all sang "What'd I Say", and Bobby Hatfield sang with powerful fulfillment and freedom "I feeeeeeeel all right!". Yes, he had just given the performance of a lifetime. Thanks to technology it has come down through history. I am sad that he cannot see this, but I am glad and grateful to receive his wonderful powerful love.

Thank you so much for your lovely comment. I came across this video in those review videos made by people so it was not shown in full but more a video in a video. When I looked around on the net I was surprised it wasn't on RUclips or anywhere else. I finally found it on a Chinese or Japanese music site with text written on it. I managed with my technical abilities to get it downloaded and enhanced it to get rid of the text.
The quality might not be as good and sharp as the Unchained Melody video which goes around and I'm happy I could post it on RUclips for everyone to enjoy.
You mentioned a third song in that show. I have not seen that one. I definately go look for that one.
I just recently 'rediscovered' them and really enjoying watching them. I can say I really turn into a fan of them. Lol.

Love it love it 😍. Thank’s. It’s more complete than what I’ve seen. Love Bobby dancing !! Shame they stopped to be so animated, much more exciting. That’s why all those great singers also dance. Elvis, James Brown, most R&B, and the fabulous Michael Jackson ❤❤❤

Thank you -- I'm so grateful to see this on RUclips again! This clip is a joy. All three are having such a good time. Andy kills it! I grew up on Andy Williams since I was a toddler, but I don't remember _this!_
I would never have believed good ol' straight-laced prime time Andy could really rock! He gets his funk on and rocks it to a Ray Charles classic, with two amazing talents, who he obviously was impressed with .
If I remember right, he mentored/advised some of the musical guests on his show. Is that right?

These 3 were having a ball here, and Bobby showed he could also dance and his voice had so many different octaves, 3 Great performers and Great Singers, and they get a kick out of how Bobby could sing so high, he was unbelievable! I noticed Bibby's voice was a lot deeper here, but got kinda squeekeer when he got older, was that from years of singing so high or falling at the Hop? Does anyone know?

    • @Aurora-tp3dy
      @Aurora-tp3dy 9 месяцев назад +2

Don't know if I would describe it as squeaky.😊 But, there absolutely is a difference in his voice after that fall, or rather attacked resulting in a fall. It knocked his teeth out, split his palate, and as he said "broke every bone you can break in a man's face."

@@Aurora-tp3dy Thanks for answering back, just knew Bobby's speaking&singing voice sound different from when he was younger, but he was such a great singer and person and really missed, just wished I could have seen & met them live, for they were the Best ever , and he's greatly&surely missed! Had read about the TheHop incident, that was such a shame!

    • @Elisa-ul2we

I would say not squeaky at all but just different. Think he was a smoker but the Hop incident changed his features too in my opinion, but maybe just putting on a little weight filled it out more. Still, an incredibly handsome man, though.

The 95% blockage probably contributed to his air flow

I would think smoking and his, " face plant" incident probably were the cause.
