great video, full of information. I just got this camera I also ordered the grip. Not sure I would love the camera without it I absolutely love the look and features of this camera.
Good review and comparison. I'd recommend for future videos adding chapters or at least time stamps for various sections especially for a near hour-long video. Perhaps when making a comparison or review video to check autofocus performance, you could include some kids at the playground / pets movement shots as many people tend to use those to "freeze the action" rather than pure sports action. Also, a demo of high speed shooting to show how many relative keepers one gets with the autofocus would be very helpful. Thank you for the time and effort you put in.
Beautiful camera. Loved the handling but I found 2 shortcomings. Firstly no native wide angle zoom (16-35 FF equivalent). Secondly no IBIS. The Competition has both.
The IBIS was a bigger deal for me than I first thought it would be. Especially when I compared the look of video on my Ronin SC3, the stabilization is so much better when I use my Nikon Z611. The Viltrox 13mm F1.4 is a great lens for wide on the Zfc though.
Thanks Mark for a great video. I purchased my Z fc two days ago with the 15-50 kit lens. I want to do some family portraits so I will purchase a prime lens as well. Thanks also for going through the flash options - the SB 500 seems like the best option for on-camera flash. I also have a SB 700 that I use on my 7100. Just wondering if I could trigger both speedlights off camera for a two light portrait and what trigger might be suitable?
Considering this camera…seems very competent, plus I noted some lens options now from Sigma and Viltrox. Appreciate the review!
Thx for the video. You could deactivate the selfie mode in LCD selfie flip. Than you get all the menus back in the display.
Thanks for the tip!
Excellent. You have covered a lot and given generously and helpfully a lot of advice. Valuable. Thank you.

Sounds like an excellent video camera! Do you prefer this to the Z30?
Yes as the viewfinder and appearance are very important to me. The Z30 I am sure will work fine but looks like a phone not a camera .

My latest video deals with speedlights and triggers please watch it.
Nice camera.
