French Day at St. Joachim in Old Mines

Think you know about French heritage in Missouri?
Names like "Chouteau," "Gravois," and "Creve Coeur" are well-known in St. Louis. Less well-known is the French heritage in the rural areas outside St. Louis, like Old Mines, Missouri.
St. Joachim Catholic School recently held a "French Day" so students could learn about the rich heritage of the area.
