I love the corbels in the kitchen, they look amazing. When I saw the silver pitcher I just wondered if an antique silver spoon could do the trick. I have seen these spoons made into bracelets and rings so I would imagine that one could be formed and attached to the pitcher. Great job on all your DIYs!!
To make a 3D mold for your base leg I recommend using 100% silicone mix with cornstarch. There are lots of videos on RUclips on how to make that kind of mold. Once you'd made the mold and it's dried and hard you would cut it in half. Then fill both sides with whatever you want to use create your leg. I recommend using air-dry clay which again there are lots of videos on RUclips on how to make that with common household ingredients or you can buy air-dry clay at the craft store. If you use air-dry clay you will want to put it in both sides and then put the two sides back together so it dries all in one piece. You could also use polymer clay by putting it in both sides than taking it out of the mold sticking the two sides together and baking it. Or you could instead of cutting the mold in half put a hole in the smallest part of the mold which would be the bottom of the foot and pour in a mixture of plaster of Paris until the mold is full. Let that dry for few days. So you have lots of options on how to solve that foot problem. Another one is just to get a piece of wood and carve it out and make sure it looks the same as the other pieces. Then when you attach your foot paint it with silver acrylic paint and you're all good to go.
You have some great ideas here! Thanks so much for sharing them. I will have to look into trying some of them. Have a great day and thanks for watching :)
Upholstery video sounds great! Maybe a garden water feature where the water appears to be pouring into a wash basin? Or take off all the legs and make a ring stand for it to sit on, could be wood or metal.
Love you living room chairs! Absolutely gorgeous! Loved your projects and how they turned out! Would love to come along and watch your progress reupholstering your chairs! Haven’t seen your vlogs in a while, but sooo glad to be back! Oh I almost forgot, looking forward to see your refurbished porch light made with the bird cage!

I just retired from 45 years of nursing, and you make all of this look like so much fun! I now have time to do these types of projects that I didn't have before. Can’t pick just one project as my favorite. I liked them all! On the silver pitcher/now vase, why not take the remaining feet off of it and look for a silver plate stand that you might be able to prop it up to hold fresh flowers? I have a couple of thrifted ones that I use glass florist vases in them for fresh flowers. You might use the other feet to hold up a small riser. Maybe for a small silver tray. I’m always thinking “outside the box”. Great video!
Thank you for your sweet response to my comment. I forgot to say that the stands I have purchased have usually been for fancy glass pitchers/pots I think. However, I have never found a stand with either pot or pitcher in it. Lol.
The chairs are done! Well at least one of them is! Here is the playlist showing the step by step process: ruclips.net/p/PLVFXDa1HmPefdY4AvNVq9VeAmbLkK15RX
I love Dixie Belle mud! I love the lamps, great ideas. Love baskets and I love the color you chose. Good idea and placement of corbels. The tables are pretty. Let's reupholster the chairs. I have now subscribed to your channel😊
I believe the product JB Weld would work to attach the handle again. It is an epoxy product that is specifically for metal. I loved the way you put the challenges in your video. Sometimes we thrifters have trials and tribulations when we are creating beauty in the world!
Great suggestion! I ordered it and I will be trying it. Thanks for the encouragement about sharing the challenges. We need a bit more real life in this social media world, don’t we!
Love what you did to revamp these items. I feel for you with the mishaps with pitcher and tables. I've had projects where nothing goes right! It's very frustrating and challenging. I pulled out off tho, tables ended up being gorgeous. 😊
Loved watching & listening to you. First time for me. Would enjoy watching you redo the chairs. What color will you do the wood? Navy to match little tables? That was my favorite. Also, wonder if there is a place you can go to make a plastic copy from a printer of the little leg you need for pitcher. Thanks for your handiwork & being so down to earth.

I just found your videos and I've subscribed. Can't wait to see your upholstery, I've been scared to try myself, the 2 chairs I have are called slipper chairs from the 30's, very simple. It's me who's afraid to try, so very excited to watch you. Have a blessed day 🌷🤗
Slipper chairs are so feminine looking - I love them! Stay tuned for the upyholstery project. I hope you find it helpful. One thought for the slipper chairs you have: you might want to consider making a slip cover. I know of a blogger that has an amazing tutorial that could help you. She has lots of tutorials Here is one of the posts: slipcovermaker.com/learn/how-to-make-a-slipcover/
Love the corbels; now you need to put a shelf between them. You can make a mold with resin for the leg of the pitcher. The tables look great with the chairs; it's been a while, but have you considered painting the chairs with chalk paint?? Annie Sloan has a video on this as do others.
The corbel are still one of my fave projects in my kitchen. The shelf is a great idea! As for the chairs: one of them has been reupholstered and I have a playlist of the step by step process here on my channel. Agh! I forgot to add that link! I just grabbed the link and added it to the list of supplies. Sorry about that! Thanks for watching and Im so glad you are inspired to make one with your birdcage 😊
The corbels were my favorite of the projects you did in this video. As for the silver vase, I would keep my eye out for a silver or perhaps a crystal or cut-glass bowl that it could sit in. You would probably have several size options since the vase tapers. I think the crystal or cut-glass would be perfect. Or you could build a square wooden holder for it to sit in. Loved the birdcage also!
If you can do upholstery, I really wouldn’t worry about welding! Lol. To me, upholstering is just, well, impossible. I’d throw that pitcher in the yard, maybe leaning against a fence or mailbox (anything, really) and put a wandering live plant in it. I have plants in silver, enamel, and metal pots-even planted one in my son’s worn out work hat. They’re different, unique, and pretty (to me).
Hi Cindy, apparently you did this video 3 months ago but had to check it out. Love the corbels. They look awesome where you placed them. That bird cage is perfect for a light for porch. Can’t wait to see it hanging out there. I would love to find one as I’ve got the stand to hang it on. In the past I’ve used it to hang a small chandelier off of it. Looks really nice too. I recognize the silver pitcher from a future video you did. Want to thank you for leaving me a comment on your last video. The one about hanging sheets on the clothes line. Someday I’ll explain another reason why I don’t hang them anymore n it’s not cuz I’m lazy LOL. It’s kinda a long story. I don’t want to take up to much space n your time but one day I’ll explain. I enjoy your video n I have no problem with you going from one project to another, keeps me guessing LOL. Oh, forgot to mention. The tables turned out so sweet n look great with your new covered chairs. Still loving that material. Did you get that through Amazon? Have a beautiful day n Gods blessings.♥️😊👍🌟🌟
Yes, this video was from a couple of months ago. I made the light from the birdcage and I wrote a blog post about it. It’s on my site ReinventedDelaware.com just search birdcage when you get there to see it! As for the fabric on the chair: I think I linked it in the description of those videos. It’s a reproduction grain sack fabric and it comes in lots of colors and stripe patterns. Thanks for watching!😊

I love the corbels and would love to see your upholstery work. I have an old chair that I had reupholstered, but is outdated. Not sure if I should tackle it myself or let someone else just take it.
I would love to see you upholster the chairs. As far as projects, loved the corbels. I also loved the “In the Navy” DB paint you used on the nesting tables. Great content!
I would like to follow your upholstery project; I have two wingback chairs that I have been wanting to attempt to reupholster for a long time and may pick up some tips from watching your project. I liked all of your makeover pieces; my favorite is the birdhouse lamp. It should look great on you front porch.
Great projects! Love the corbels and would never think to put them there! I’d love to see those chairs reupholstered in a blue stripe cotton ticking fabric, which I just bought at Walmart….very reasonable 👍😊
Your corbels were my absolute favorite project. They look gorgeous in your kitchen!!! Jealous!!!! For the pitcher.... I Love how you show us the fails. Thank you for showing us that I am not the only one who struggles with things!! I was wondering if the Amazing casting putty would work to make a mould and then create a new foot for your foot using resin??? Just a thought. I have seen Jami and Zeb use it several times on different projects but I have yet to attempt anything like that Thank you again for this fun video and we can't wait to see what you bring us next time!!!
We are loving the corbels too! About the fails: I strive to show the real side of upcycles and furniture makeovers. Hopefully it encourages others to try doing projects. We need more real in this world of social media! 😊
@@ReinventedDelaware I did this on a metal canister of a chicken that was missing the beak. Painted and attached with tight bond and looks like it was made for it. 😊
Maybe something you could try for your silver pitcher is Amazing Mold Putty: Alumilite. I just watched another RUclipsr use it the other day. After you make the mold of the foot you use Resin to make the replacement foot and paint it. Just a thought. I enjoyed your flips!
All your projects are awesome! The pitcher could get a little peg leg 😉 just to keep it from tipping over. You could paint it with slick stick and paint it adding a couple of moulds from OID. Soldering the handle might work. Or keep the handle for another project. Using caulk between the corbels and the wall and cabinets is a nice way to blend them in. I’m so glad you left the birdcage lamp unpainted! Can’t wait to watch the reupholstery of your gorgeous chairs too!
Thanks for the tips! I'm definitely going to save the handle for something. Wouldn't a whole collection of the handles be pretty attached to a board or something and used for display? Or maybe as a coat rack? Thanks for watching!
@@ReinventedDelaware YES!!! A display of handles would be great!!! Also, if you get into a conundrum over your chairs, I can help. I’m a retired master upholsterer 😉❤️👍🏽

I just discovered your channel and I am so thrilled that I did! Those corbels turned out great and I love those in a kitchen. I have several of those silver plated pitchers and I use them for faux flowers or greenery and it looks beautiful so I hope you keep that, but you could also spray paint it. Watching you upholster those beautiful chairs would be just great as I have a chair I picked up from FB Marketplace that I would love to upholster but I have no idea how to go about it.

I would love to see you reupholster those red chairs. I have two chairs I need to reupholster and it would be helpful for me.
Stay tuned! The upholstery project is coming soon 😊
I love these shelving supports! I love what you did with the silver pitcher-displaying it without the handle! I love learning from your videos!❤️
Thanks so much Patti! I appreciate your encouragement :)
Would love to see you reupholster the chairs❤
We're starting the reupolstery series tonight at 8pm EST!
I love the corbels and would love to see your upholstery work. I have an old chair that I had reupholstered, but is outdated. Not sure if I should tackle it myself or let someone else just take it.
The corbels are definitely my fave too. Stay tuned for the upholstery project! It's coming!
You could use resin to create a leg for the pitcher, I love the corbels
Resin might have worked better than Bondo - thank you for the idea!
Use the amazing resin mold kit for the pitcher leg
Thanks for the suggestion!😊
I would love to see you upholster the chairs. As far as projects, loved the corbels. I also loved the “In the Navy” DB paint you used on the nesting tables. Great content!
Isn't the navy color so pretty? I'm so glad you enjoyed watcing! Thank you :)
I would love to follow along for the upholstery project!
Thanks Susie! I'm trying to figure out if I could swing it! Filming adds a new dimension to the project. But I'm going to give it a try :)
I would love to follow along your reupholstering project!
It's coming soon! Stay tuned!
Would love to watch the upholstery clip.
The series has started! Be sure to watch part two tonight!
Can you make the leg with air dry clay and use liquid nails to attach it to the pitcher? Paint the leg metallic silver.
Many are suggesting air dry clay - I need to give that a try! Thanks so much for chiming in and for watching :)
I would like to follow your upholstery project; I have two wingback chairs that I have been wanting to attempt to reupholster for a long time and may pick up some tips from watching your project. I liked all of your makeover pieces; my favorite is the birdhouse lamp. It should look great on you front porch.
So glad you enjoyed the projects! Stay tuned for the upholstery videos😊
Great projects! Love the corbels and would never think to put them there! I’d love to see those chairs reupholstered in a blue stripe cotton ticking fabric, which I just bought at Walmart….very reasonable 👍😊
Stay tuned! The chairs are in the works!
I made a mold with Amazing Silicone mould and it is pliable so it should work out great
That's a great idea! Thanks for watching!
Use JB Weld to attach the handle works great to glue metal
I’m putting some in my Amazon cart now! Thank you!
We would like to see you redoing the chairs!
Yay! Part one is on my channel. Here is a link: ruclips.net/video/9X8Sq3wMZZs/видео.html
Part two is this Wednesday evening 8pm EST!
@@ReinventedDelaware Good morning! Thanks! 🤗🥰
I would love to see how you reupholster the chairs.
Stay tuned!
I would make a clay mold of a leg for the pitcher and attach. You can mold it however you need and get the curvature of the pitcher.
Great idea! Maybe I should give that a try😊
@@ReinventedDelaware I did this on a metal canister of a chicken that was missing the beak. Painted and attached with tight bond and looks like it was made for it. 😊
@@gailbrown8710 Success for the chicken!
Make a wall sconce or hanging planter.from the silver vase.
Great idea! Thanks :)
Me too!
Thanks for watching!
I have glass dishes that have been glud with e6000 for 2 years. Are temp. Go frome -2 to 98. Good stuff.
Thanks for the tip! E6000 is amazing!
Hi, you might can use jb weld to pot.. I've had good luck with it.
Thanks! I’ll try that next time 😊
Love the corbels and the nesting tables in navy blue. Did you do the chairs yet?
I’m loving the corbels too! The chair has been upholstered and here is a link to the full play list: ruclips.net/p/PLVFXDa1HmPefdY4AvNVq9VeAmbLkK15RX
Maybe something you could try for your silver pitcher is Amazing Mold Putty: Alumilite. I just watched another RUclipsr use it the other day. After you make the mold of the foot you use Resin to make the replacement foot and paint it. Just a thought. I enjoyed your flips!
I've not heard of that product! I will look into to it :) Thanks so much!
Great ideas live your determination. Could you put a screw on the bottom and screw it from the inside with a washer ?
Do you mean for the silver pitcher? That might work!
@@lorijonerad857 Omgoodness, that is awesome! I'm certainly not a master but I have upholstered several pieces over the years. Hopefully I won't do something that makes you cringe :)
@@ReinventedDelaware you won’t!! I have all the confidence in the world that you can do it beautifully! And, besides I’ve seen a ton of cringy things in the biz😝🤣😂🤣😂
Thanks for the ideas about the pitcher! The corbels are my fave too. And stay tuned for the upholstery project!
Id love to see the reupholster of your chairs
The chair has been reupholstered! See the full playlist with step by step instructions here: ruclips.net/p/PLVFXDa1HmPefdY4AvNVq9VeAmbLkK15RX
Love your videos, new subscriber here and I need those fingerless gloves…have a link by any chance ❤
Hi Debbie! I’m so glad you enjoyed the projects! I added a link for gloves that are similar. Mine were gifted to me so I’m not sure where they came from😊
You could try jewelry and metal glue (Amazon) to put the handle on the pitcher.
That's a great idea. I will have to look into that!
