Thank you Cindy..I am so tired of people complaining about how the creators create. I don't understand. Everyone has their own style. Thats what makes it fun to watch many different creators. You keep doing you.
I completely agree! We all like different styles. We are all unique and that keeps it intereesting :) Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
Hi, 66 yr old retired widow from SC, love all you do ❣️ Thank You for sharing ❣️
@@patriciagoodson1305 Thanks so much! 🥰
I'm with you on moving from one project to another ❣️ I have at least 5 different projects going on now myself 😂 ❣️
Very well said Sue! ❤
The other utensil looks like a part from a mortar and pestle to crush herbs...make sense to go with the meat mallet
Omgoodness, of course!! I did not even think of that! Now to find a bowl to go with it!😀
The kitchen utensil is a potato masher! I’m glad someone else works on the floor. Thanks for sharing theses great ideas! Terri
Thanks for the info. As for the floor, I’m hoping to get another table soon!🤣
I love them all! But my fav is the tray with the painted pears!
Aren't they the cutest?? They would look good in some many colors too. I'm thinkng gold and silver and turn thme into Christmas ornaments! Hopefully I will remember to do that🤣
I have that paint in that color ,it’s awesome .
Love them all but the fruit is amazing
Didn't it turn out amazing?? I want to paint more!
Love the white tray with the painted fruits.
Me too!! 😊
I feel the same I love them all the dish with the fruit is really cute.
Thank you 😋I’m ready to paint more fruit!
Absolutely love the white tray with the blue flowers and pears! Turned out beautifully! Without a doubt was my favourite project!
Thanks so much Donna! It turned out better than I expected 😊
Love your work! Can't please everyone, you do you! ❤
Thank you so much!😊
I like to do the cross hatch on metallic paint. Looks really good.
I bet that looks amazing! I will have to give that a try!😊
The meat masher is a set with the round thing is a meat pusher for the meat grinder tool to push down on it !
Omgoodness, I never thought of that!! Thanks for the info!😊
We use the bulb like kitchen tool as a pestel to push our berries through siv and cheese cloth. I love all of these projects!
Great idea! I will keep that in mind. I used it to crushed garlic in a small wooden bowl the other day. It wielded great! Thanks for your kind words😊
My hubby and I worked a lot with different woods and furniture. We refinished a Hoosier cabinet that was made with Popler wood. Your little wooden bowl appears to be the same type of wood. Popler wood varies in color and when stained makes a beautiful piece.
Thanks! Maybe I should stain it. I have a plan to hang it in my kitchen. I will try to post a pic in my communtiy post in the coming weeks 😊
I like the tray with the transfer on it. I bought a similar one at Goodwill today only it’s larger and no holes for the handles paid $2.40 for it. Going to do something similar to it. Thanks so much for the inspiration!
That's awesome that you just found one of these trays! Have fun giving it a refresh!
I really love the wood bowl, cutting boards and utensils you redid. The try with the transfer was beautiful! I also jump from project to project, so have no problem watching you do the same.😊
The wood items turned out better than I expected. And they were easy makeovers that only cost a couple of bucks each. Thanks for watching 😊
You found some cool things to makeover. I liked the small riser you did n adding those handles made it nice looking. Your other riser I really liked extra. I do like transfers on certain things n the one you picked for this riser was perfect, the color n all coordinates so well. I do love transfers with different types of leaves . So you won my heart on that. Haha.
The wooden piece you weren’t sure about is masher or you could beat your chicken or beef with it hahaha. It’s for mashing fruits or certain veggies even pills if you like. It looks like a set with your meat tenderizer.
Enjoyed the video Cindy. Once again I liked your goodies you found thrifty.
♥️♥️😊👍👍🌟
Thanks for the info about the kitchen utensil. I had to chuckly when you said to beat the chicken or beef with it! haha! Thanks for the smile your comment brought Shelly !🥰
The board you washed....would make a good rustic hanging pumpkin for fall decorated with some raffia and greens at the top and maybe even a face on it
Omgoodness yes it would!! What a great idea! I might have to do that when fall comes🎃
Everything looks so beautiful I ilovet thanks.
Thank you! 🤗 I’m glad you enjoyed the projects!
All of them are beautiful
Thanks Carmen!
The round one is for crushing herbs
Thanks Deborah!😊
I liked the blue fruits with the tray 😊
Me too! They looks so cute together!
I like the painted fruit! I’ve never seen anyone paint those before and you can find them thrifting a lot and I didn’t think there was anything to be done to save them.
I agree, the fruit looks amazing! I can alwasy paint them again for a holiday too. I'm thinking at Christmas to make them look gilded or sparkly 😀
The fruit you painted is referred to as sugared fruit. I have some and now I know what I can do with it to blend it in with my sunflower dining room! I liked all your projects and like you I wouldn’t be able to choose just one. I guess it’s like choosing a favorite child! I watch to see different ways to upscale things and whether I like it or not I always get ideas from your makeovers. And I do love the visits!!!:):):)
@@vickiulrich6694 Your fruit will look amazing! I'm so glad you find inspiration here. Taking the ideas and turning them into your own creation is just what I hope for! Stay creative and thanks for watching 😊
It is a mortor for spices. Meat mallet and mortor. They normally come with a bowl.
I just used the round kitchen tool to crush garlic and it worked great!
I loved them all too! Thank you for the free printables!! So sweet of you to do that.
Yay!! I'm so glad you enjoy the printables Donna! Thanks for joining me over on my blog. Your support means so much to my small business 🥰
New follower, I’m loving your work. And that little cutting board, I loved it before you put the white on it, and after it was removed. I just like that old looking, faded wood.
I like it much better without the white wash to Joyce! Thanks for joining me here 😊
The wood knob tool could also be a pestal for spices.😊
I think you are right Peggy! I used it to crush garlic the other night for my recipe recipe 😊
I like all the makeovers!! Well done.
Thanks so much! 😊
I saw that table at the end of the video. I don’t think we’ve seen that before. It looked nice with the veggies and plates on it.
That table at the end of the video is my new craft table!! My sweet hubby made it for me and I forgot to mention it!
I love how you made these thrift finds. I love that everyone does something different on their channels. We can all look at the same object and all come up with a different end look. Just like these comments all have different ideas on that utensil. It could be used for everyone of those uses.
I agree with you Shelly! The variety of ideas and styles is inspiring! Thanks for watching 😊
I Absolutely LOVE this Video...
Projelerinizi beğendiğim için abone oldum, çok güzel çalışmalar 👏👏🎉🎉
Thanks!
Yes, it’s a masher, potato, tomatoes, vegetables in general. I had one at one time, years ago.
Good to know!😊
In my native Poland it would be called a potato masher to make...well - mashed potatos
Next time I make mashed potatoes, I'm going to use it! Thanks!
I love it all! Transfers add so much!
So glad you enjoyed watching Vicky!
Love them all.
Thanks Kathryn!😊
I’m impressed you can sit on the floor and work. My back would not allow that and I wouldn’t be able to get up! I agree that you should do what you want -everyone has a different idea of what beauty is. Love your projects and instruction.
Ha ha 🤣 I did have to do some stretches when I got up from the floor! Plus I do yoga stretches most mornings to try to stay limber. That’s getting harder as I age 😊 have a great day!
I love it
Thanks Maggie!😊
Those implements are both meat mallets. One for tenderizing, one for pounding. We don’t need to pound anymore as we have lots of handy dandy appliances.😊
“Finagling” my word for the week!
Thanks for your input! I love your word for the week😊
I really like the fruit bowl. I even ordered the rub on you used. First time watcher and I signed up for your RUclips and FB page. Great ideas. Thanks.
Hi Bonnie! Thanks so much for watching and thanks for signing up. I hope you enjoy our new Facebook group. Thanks again and have a great day 😊
The cutting board with the two types of wood, you could try oxalic acid to get a more uniform tone.
Thanks! I will look into that😊
Everything is so beautiful.
Thanks Debra!
The utensil that goes with the meat mallet is for crushing, much like a pestle and mortar.
Thanks Heather!😊
Hello, I really appreciated your work, brava.👍🏻👏👋
Thank you very much😊
you are right! it belongs in your sewing box. it is to darn socks, or small holes, my grandmom used one.
Thanks for your input!. I have a darning tool that belonged to my hubbies grandma and it looks similar 😊
I love the tray with the fruits, all were great, but that’s my favorite 🌹
It turned out prettier than I expected 😊
Creative use for the sugared fruit. I did not think I was going to like that at all, but the completed tray and fruit was gorgeous!
Glad you liked it!! It turned out better than I expected! 😊
I have been thinking about starting a small business lately. I am an older gal, but have been remaking furniture peices for my own home. Everything thrifted. Thanks for sharing.
Go for it Suzanne! I am an older gall too😊 I started my vendor booth in my fifties and I really enjoyed it. The only reason I lifer it was because my blog and my RUclips channel took over. Find a place that you rent month by month. That way if you don’t like it, you can easily stop😊
I have a "thing" for wood, so my favourite is the wooden fruit bowl. But I also love the painted fruit.
I love wood too. The Wax it All works great on wood😊
😊it's a hot chocolate mixer u place the handle between ur plays and churn my mom had some
Now that make me want a cup of hot chocolate! ☕️
Love all the crafts you made. Im now a subscriber to your channel. Glad I found your channel to watch wirh all the other crafters. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much!
Great projects Cindy! The transfer on the tray is fabulous!
I think so too Anna! Thanks for watching 🥰
That is a pestle for crushing stuff in a mortar, like when you make pesto
Of course!! Now I just need the bowl to go with it. Just another reason to go thrifting!😀
I'm actually not a transfer lover. Not that they don't make an item pretty - they do! But they're pretty taste, era and space specific afterward and that doesn't work for me... at least for the monies spent. But... you did great with everything. The wood items with that wax turned out beautiful!
I get it about the cost of transfers and them being so specific. Thanks for your input and for watching! ☺️
The plate is beautiful!
Thank you!😊
Extremely clever and adorable makeovers. Thank you for sharing your creativity with us.
You are so welcome Mary! Thanks for your kind words 🥰
❤❤❤
😊😊😊
The wooden tool is a potato masher. The tools you’ve seen that look like darning mushrooms with long handles are also mashers.
I can't wait to make mashed potatoes now!! 😊
Hi Cindy, beautiful work!! I like what you said about curating one's own collection. I saw your lamp re-do video and loved the final look of the lamps. 😄😄😄
Thank you so much! Your encouraging words made my day🥰
New subscriber 😊 loved all these projects 👏👏👏👏
Thanks for subbing Mary! If your last name is coffee, you have the best last name☕️☕️☕️
Cindy, I apparently can’t project jump, as I have several unfinished pieces. Maybe if I continue to watch you I will get the knack of doing that. I have seen those wooden bread(?) trays and always pass on them. After seeing what you did with yours, I may pick up the next one I see! I really like how you covered the open handles with the hardware pulls. Thanks for sharing
I understand about not finishing projects. But for the most part I’m a project jumper because I am impatient! 🤣 I hope you find one of the trays so you can make it over. Can’t wait to see what you do with yours 😊
FILL that space/crack even now on your first little tray . Then paint again. Keep me up at night leaving that disconnect!!!
Those little things bother me too! Thanks for watching!
❤
😊
I'm a new subscriber, I loved everything
Thanks for subscribing! I’m so glad you enjoyed the projects!😊
Maybe the o'other' utensil with the Meat Mallet, is a Potato Pestle, for mashed spuds? :)
It could definitely work for that!🥔
New to your channel, loved this video ❤
Thanks! I'm so glad you found my channel. I hope you find inspiration here!
First time watching one of your make over video's, and I must say that I have thoroughly enjoyed it. I couldn't pick a favourite as I quite liked all of them, they all turned out beautifully. Well done. 🥰🇬🇧🐾🐾💖
Thank you so much! Your kind words put a smile on my face 😊
Hi Cindy, I know you will know the answer to my question. I am going to paint an old milk can and apply the Magnolia transfer. My question is whether or not I can paint the can black. Will the transfer look the same if it's not on white paint? These all turned out so pretty! Even the little unusual hollowed out cutting had a very attractive primative vibe!
Hi! The transfer will look different on black paint.I have seen transfers on black paint and it is a gorgeous look. The transfer are transparent so keep that in mind Search on Pinterest to get an idea of what it will look like. That should give you an idea! Hope this helps! 🥰
I quite like the blue fruit in the tray. Very elegant looking!
💞
Thanks Paula!
I think it may be a plunger for a grinder that attaches to a kitchen side mixer
That could be! My old Kitchen Aid has a similar wood plunger. Thanks for your input!
Definitely looks like a pestle. I'd say it goes in the kitchen 😊
It's in the kitchen waiting for some herbs! Thanks for your input Rebecca!😊
I thought maybe the tool was a berry masher for when you make jam. I just watched your video, and subscribed, Thank you!
You are the first person to suggest that! Thanks for your input and for subscribing 😊
Hi Cindy! I’m a new subscriber to your channel! Your channel was recommended to me by RUclips, and I’m so glad it was! I love your style and everything you remade today is absolutely gorgeous! I’m really looking forward to seeing more of your videos! Have a blessed day!
Thanks Rachelle for watching and subscribing! I hope you find inspriation here! Have a blessed day 😊
❤❤❤ YOUR WORK. THE OTHER UTENSIL TO PUBERIZE FRUIT BN VEGETABLES. I HAVE ONE LEFT BY MY GRANDMA.
Thanks so much for your kind words! I love the old kitchen tools too 😊
I love using transfers! I’ve been working on a couple of projects today. I wonder, do you apply a sealer before you apply the transfer?
I don’t apply a sealer before the transfer but almost always I seal after I’ve applied the transfer. I hope this helps 😊
Not sure but the tool with a rounded end makes me think of what Gram used to push cooked apples thru a seive to make apple sauce.
You are probably right! So many tools had many uses back in the day!😊
I just asked to join your Facebook group, enjoy your videos!
Thanks so much! I hope you enjoy the group!
Add a battery operated candle to the birdcage or a puck light with a remote and hang it up for extra lighting. 😊
That’s a great idea! Thanks!
The companion to that meat mallet looks like what my aunts in Mex used to mash the chocolate cubes to make us hot chocolate but those also had two wood ring and they would hold and quickly shake between both hands 🤷♀️
Wow, I've never heard of that! Thanks for the info!😊
It’s a mallet for herbs!
I think you are right! Thanks😊
Muddling what you need
Tahnks for your input!
Have you done anything with the finds you got at the thrift stores in Williamsburg Virginia over the summer? if so, do you have links for those videos? I tried to keep an eye out, but I haven't seen anything. Wondered if I just missed it. That little bowl with the fruit is adorable. I would never have thought to paint that fruit.
So glad you enjoyed this video! I did makeover some of those items from my Williamsburg trip. It’s hard to keep up with all of my videos! Thanks for asking! Thrift Store Makeovers | Budget Friendly Home Decor

Great makeovers!💖
Glad you like them Gail! 🥰
Many people have said that implement is a pestle. However, pestles are usually made with stone or marble. Wood is much too soft to crush spices and herbs adequately. that being said, I couldn't tell you what it is.
That's true - I've seen mortal and pestle sets made from stone or granite. Thanks for your input!😊
Utensils, one is a meat tenderier, the other I believe is a vintage potato masher.
Thanks! We've been having quite the conversation in comments about the round-shaped tool! I used it to crush garlic recently :)
@@ReinventedDelaware It was fun reading the comments. Loved your video, thanks!
To crush herbs
I think you are right! Thanks for watching😊
Hi! New subscriber from another Delawarean!! Where are you in DE. I’m in Hockessin
Yay!! Another Delawarean!! Welcome! We are in the lower end of the state! I will check out your channel🥰
Is the wooden tool a pestle? And may you could put some faux grain in the bald spot in the cutting board.
Lots of people think its a pestle so that's what I'm going with!! Thanks for your input 😊
I could see a pumpkin in the cutting board that you white washed.
Omgoodness, I see that now too!! Thanks so much! 🎃
Sock darner or part of mortar and pestle??
Your guess is as good as mine! I thought sock darner first but I'm not sure! I might use it as a pestle with a wooden bowl I have. 😊
The kitchen tools are maybe a set of hand grinder that’s missing the bowl???
I think you are right!😊
Wonder if garlic press
Maybe! I used it the other day to crush garlic and it worked pretty good!
White cutting board looks like a pumpkin to me.
Of course!! You have a great eye!
Pestlr with meat pounder
Sounds right to me!😊
To me that wood piece with the handle the wood looks damaged, like it was put into water and sat to long. I need to get wax you used. I’ve been wanting a food safe wax for a good while. I was in Michaels looking for a paste wax for chalk painted pieces, the child had no idea what I was looking for. You know like a paste car wax, what? I know there is recipe to make dark wax or white wax, I’d rather buy it.😂😂😂😂.😊❤
You might be right about that little wood piece. The wood was so weird! That's too bad about the girl not knowing what you were looking for! I like to buy wax specifically for chalk paint. You will love the Wax it All product. It's great on cutting boards! Thanks for watching and commenting Margaret :)
Could it be a egg for darning socks?
That’s a possibility! I decided to use it in the kitchen. Recently I used it to crush garlic and it worked great. 😊 Thanks for your input!
Mortar
Thank you 😊
That wooden utensil is for getting pie shells you roll out smoothed out in your round baking container
Wow! That never crossed my mind! Thanks for sharing😊
I always use gloves, Inexpensive garden gloves are tight
Should have filled the inside of the bowl with caulk.
I think you are on to something! Thanks!
