Yes, I use a clothesline. I have one outside and one inside my garage in front of my washer. I also hang clothes in the bathroom. My dryer quit working a few years ago.
I'm in Australia so yes, I hang clothes on the clothesline. It's the norm here. And best thing is that it's the sun's rays that help sanitise and also react with the alkali in soaps to gently whiten cloth.
This was a fun video. Everything is adorable. I love my silver tarnished. I just love the character it gives it. I really love the antique dresses. They are in great condition and really precious.
Funny you should say that about the birds - the far end of my clothesline has to be avoided since we have a tree close to it along with the birds that love the tree! 🦅
Oh my goodness! The box with the legs on it… my great grandmother gave me a table and chairs that had that exact same pattern and material on the chairs when I first moved out on my own. I hated it at the time and ended up giving it away a couple of years later. Someone would probably want it now. They were made very well and would probably still be in great condition. That pattern just isn’t for me. Now I wish I still had it to paint after watching you paint that piece. The unpolished (silver over copper) is my favorite. I love to see the age of an item in its patina. ❤❤❤ Ilove the little dresses in the laundry room. So sweet. I love the shade of green on the lid of the jar. I know it is Dixie Belle but t I think I missed the color. It’s gorgeous.
That’s a great memory you have about the little sewing cabinet! This one is made well and it is in good condition. The Dixie Belle color for the lid is called Kudzo. I have a link in the description to the whole paint line. It’s the perfect green for this kid! Thanks for your kind words!😊
I’m loving how you are jumping back and forth with your projects cause that’s exactly how I work it gives me time to decide what I want to do with with each one but sometimes I don’t finish some 😂 I have one of those jars also I’m going to create mine like yours I love it❤ thanks for sharing your ideas I’m loving them all

I grew up in an Early American decor home also. Whole I appreciate that design, it's not mine. I have finally had the courage to redo a few of my parents' (especially my father's works) items to fit more into my decor. Some examples: milk can, wash boiler, trunks. I love getting inspiration from crafters like you!

I surely do remember the Early American furniture. My Aunt and Uncle used to have Early American decor, and my Aunt Grace was blessed with having an old big milk churn, which I know were super hard to find and if you did, were expensive to buy. She stencilled it with using an American eagle. She painted the background with black paint. I guess that’s where I get my love of repurposing things and stencilling/ arts and crafts. I love you back yard and garden! Love your projects, too and the finished projects.
That’s awesome that you can see where your love of repurposing came from! What a treasured memory for you. I just made over an old milk can with a transfer - that video will be coming soon! Thanks for watching and for your kind words🥰

Great ideas! I've never thought of doing a basket on my door. I will definitely copy that one. And oh my goodness, those dresses are adorable. And oh yes, I do hang my laundry out, as well as hang it inside during the winter.

Everything turned out so nice!! I have the exact hummingbird and did the same thing with it out side hanging on my rusty, bird cage. I have an outdoor thick pillar candle in mine. 😊
The coffee scooper is so cute! To turn the hydrangea into a standard, choose a straight center as the trunk, take off the branches &leaves off the lower part that you have chosen to be the trunk. Do not cut the very top (leader)until you have reached desired height. It will want to sprout on the trunk from time to time, just pinch off those leaves. You can also stake the trunk to keep it straight at first, then remove later. Practice on rosemary…it is cheaper, fun, pretty and edible.

Cindy I am fairly new to your channel but I absolutely love what you do. I love to hang clothes out on the line still. I have a couple of those little dresses that my mom had when she passed away. I'm sure she got them from an auction or yard sale or something she was always doing stuff like that. TFS❤❤❤
Hi Robin! I’m so glad you found my channel and I hope you enjoy our projects and the little things I do here. Your mom must have had a love for children’s things like I do. What a treasure for you to have from her! 🥰
Hello! I'm really enjoying your videos. Just a whole bunch! While you were working on the lid to that beautiful jar, trying to get the rest off, I just wanted to suggest that you can use vinegar to remove rust on most metals. The stronger acidity/percentage the better. My uncle restored cast iron for over 60 years and he always started with soaking cast-iron skillets and cooking vessels in vinegar before continuing the process with various tools. Give it a try!
Thanks for the tip! I will try that next time. I’m so glad you found our channel and I hope you are inspired by our projects! Thanks for watching and for the tip🥰
Loved your revamps! You did a great job, as usual!! I want to know about the baby crib turned laundry basket!! Uniquely Genius!!! Love, love, love. Thanks for sharing😊
I jump from project to project also lol don’t feel bad. I think we all do it, as for removing the rust the best way is to put your rusty lid in some vinegar try six hours and see if the rust falls off or maybe it needs to 24 hours depending on how much rest there is after that put some baking soda on it to neutralize the acid and presto you have a rust free lid 😊
Another way to remove rust without using much vinegar, soak paper towels in vinegar and place your rusty object in a Ziploc bag covered with those paper towels
Not crazy about the dresses in your laundry room. Also, you won’t have much if any bloom on hydrangea😊 if you make into a topiary. I prefer your butter dish polished. Rose art work is very pretty.

The way you displayed the little dresses was so clever, and the basket on your front door (or was it the back door?) with the faux hydrangeas was fantastic! I also like how you jump from project to project. It keeps the video interesting and fun! Also, congratulations on your newest grandson....he is adorable! ♥♥
Thank you so much Lori! Those little dresses make my heart go pitter patter😊 The basket of faux hydrangeas is on the front door. My back door could use something too😉 Our newest little grandson is such a sweetie. Baby snuggles are the best! Have a great day😀
I wish i had a clothes line . Unfortunately i live in town . I sure wish i could have one , clothes sure smelt so much better and looked better sun bleached whites . ❤
I agreee - there is nothing like hanging clothes out on the line. Hopefully one day you can too!
Your videos are so much fun! I work on many projects at one time. My butter is left on the counter. Love the butter dish just the way you did it. Great ideas!
Working on several projects at once keeps it interesting! Thanks for watching and woohoo for keeping the butter out on the counter 😊😊
Maybe you could hang the little dresses higher than the valance from cup hooks in the ceiling. They are lovely!
Great idea!! That would protect the bottom edge of the dresses from the strong sunlight coming through the window! Thanks!😊
Love the bleached baskets. I too do not like the orange coloured baskets.
Aw that big jar is and the green lid is fabulous; just like the green and cream wartime enamel pans in tins.
Bleaching baskets is a toss up- sometimes the results are perfect and sometimes they are not. This one turned out perfect! The jar and the painted lid is pretty close to original! Thanks for watching 😊
Awesome idea’s thanks ❤👍👍👍
Glad you like them! Thanks for watching 😊
It doesn’t bother me that you jump back and forth with your projects. That’s how I operate with everything 😅 I’m new to your channel and have just subscribed 🌷

It's the best, isn't it??
@ absolutely!!!
Hi I’m new to your show and you are a riot. I like to think I am crafty and sometimes I need visual aid. So if I hear from you I will know my message was received. Thank you and Keep Crafting
Welcome! I’m so glad you had a good chuckle and enjoyed the video! We all need some inspiration for our creativity and it’s fun to see ideas from others. BTW, I personally answer all of my comments😊 Thanks for watching!
On the counter just like you said!
Thanks Kathy!
I leave butter out!😊
Yay for all of us soft butter lovers!🥳🥳
Definitely keep my butter out! Your birdcage light is the cutest!
Mine too! So glad you enjoyed to e birdcage light!😊
It's an Apple Cage NOT a bird cage
Nice projects ! I have had the best results getting rust off of metals with SOS pads
Good to know! I will try that next time😊
lol, I think my grandma had that early american in wall paper in her kitchen
Too funny! I bet she loved it!
Yes I hang clothes on the line. My neighbor does too. Lol
Our neighbors hang out their clothes too. Its a nice time to say hi to your your neighbor like back in the old days😊
To put the Planters together if you drill holes in line them up you can use zip ties and it's substantially easier than a bolt
Omgoodness that is a brilliant idea and I have zip ties so I should’ve done that. Thanks so much 😊
Loved your revamps! You did a great job, as usual!! I want to know about the baby crib turned laundry basket!! Uniquely Genius!!! Love, love, love. Thanks for sharing😊
Thank you! I will add more about the laundry basket from a baby doll crib in my next spend the morning with me video! Thanks for the suggestion😊
We don't keep our butter out on the counter because we live in Miami. I think the little dresses look sweet in your laundry.
That's a good reason to put your butter away Donna!
Polished
Thanks for your input!
Great info! The next time I get a rusted piece, I’m going to try your vinegar idea. Thanks!😊
I love this idea! Thank you 😊
Put a small piece of cute fabric under top of coffee jar. Will look Xtra cure.
Great idea! Thanks!
Not crazy about the dresses in your laundry room. Also, you won’t have much if any bloom on hydrangea😊 if you make into a topiary. I prefer your butter dish polished. Rose art work is very pretty.
Thanks for your input and thanks for watching 😊
