It was there that I went to the Goodwill Outlet (and IKEA). It was so much fun, but four days away from home makes it hard to get a video done (which is why I am behind on watching all of my favorite channels)!

Hi sherry😊. This is my 1st time commenting. I have to say I’ve done a lot of DIY surfing and I mostly come back to you. We have very similar taste and it was nice to be validated since I’ve always been “granny chic” lol. Years ago one of my grandchildren looked around my house and declared “Mammy loves every stuff!” 😂 and then… you introduced me to dark academia… I didn’t know it had a name🥰 but been lovin it forever. Our house was build in 1750, It was formerly a “stagecoach stop” Just wanted to let you know how much I’ve enjoyed all the magic you make with all the “stuff”. Thank you!! Cyndy 👍🏼😉🥰
All of your Upcycled projects are beautiful. You are so very creative. Just as an FYI, very little of what is not sold at the bins ends up on the landfill. I know this because I wotked at Goodwill for years. Items not sold at the bins get a third chance to be sold. These are broken down into recyclable categories. Purse, shoes and leather belts, etc get recycled. Other items that get recycled are glass, metal, plastics,paper, and textiles. Clothing is also sold at a very low price per pound to places that recycle them. A lot of clothing is donated to churches or sent to third world counties. Good will prides itself in throwing away as little as possible.
You do such a great job of creating with odds and ends !!Decisive and focused ! However I wish more of the mailbox showed. It has such a lovely curved shape . Really enjoy these videos, thanks.
I did really like your clock shelf Sherry. The piece looks like it came that way, not as very disparate pieces you melded together. My favorite pieces this week were the wooden toy train pieces. The end results were charming! I always love it when you put some thread in the bird's mouth. It not only added to the cohesiveness of the piece, but added and extra touch of sweetness.
Thanks for the inspiration with the handkerchief butterflies. I've bought some wonderful fabric at the thrift store lately and am now thinking about what shapes - butterflies or other - they might work well with.

So talented…Thank you…I purchased 2 beautiful garden fairies at Hobby Lobby several years ago…Each has a wing broken off and I couldn’t decide how to replace the wings…Now, I will do just as you did with your fairy only they are beautifully painted so I will have to find a way to cover the putty to make it match…I’m so happy you showed me what to do…thank you♥️

Soaking the Angel vine in hot water with a wee bit of fabric softener for a short time helps it to be more pliable.

Purse, shoes and leather belts, etc get recycled. Other items that get recycled are glass, metal, plastics,paper, and textiles. Clothing is also sold at a very low price per pound to places that recycle them. A lot of clothing is donated to churches or sent to third world counties. Good will prides itself in throwing away as little as possible.

I did really like your clock shelf Sherry. The piece looks like it came that way, not as very disparate pieces you melded together. My favorite pieces this week were the wooden toy train pieces. The end results were charming! I always love it when you put some thread in the bird's mouth. It not only added to the cohesiveness of the piece, but added and extra touch of sweetness.

Thanks for the inspiration with the handkerchief butterflies. I've bought some wonderful fabric at the thrift store lately and am now thinking about what shapes - butterflies or other - they might work well with.

So many pretty creations!!! So talented…Thank you…I purchased 2 beautiful garden fairies at Hobby Lobby several years ago…Each has a wing broken off and I couldn’t decide how to replace the wings…Now, I will do just as you did with your fairy only they are beautifully painted so I will have to find a way to cover the putty to make it match…I’m so happy you showed me what to do…thank you♥️
