Thank you so much, Stevo, for taking the time to start this channel 🤘🏽🤘🏽
Thank you for watching!
Literally came to say this exact same thing lmao
This channel is the best thing of 2024
Thank you!
Agreed 100%
Seriously you aren’t kidding.
For sure
So true!
This channel is "All Killer, No Filler" 💯
Thank you!
@drumeo need to get you in for one of their blind drumming challenges. It’s so great hearing you playing again and taking this nostalgia trip with you 🤙🏻
💯!!!!
The music videos for In too Deep, Fat lip, are such fun. They really embodied the early 2000's.
I will get to those ones too - all classics in my opinion and I think they still hold up
Yeah, you gotta talk about working with Mr. Sasso.
@@stevo32drums So the In Too Deep video is totally inspired by the diving segment in 'Back to school', right? The triple Lindy?
@@stevo32drumsthey absolutely do. I commented elsewhere but I’m dying to know, is the lyric in Fat Lip “the doctor said my mom…” or “the dentist said my mom…”. Every lyric website says doctor, but to my ear it has ALWAYS sounded like dentist, which is also WAY funnier IMO.
@@benrosemberg1985 It IS Doctor :))
Chuck is my favorite Sum album. Thank you so much for talking about "We're All To Blame"!
Thanks for watching! It was fun to play again after so long!
I'm not sure that you can call it a cover.
@@stevo32drums The song gives me goosebumps every time, especially the end.
@@paulogorris18 I meant in the realm of talking about it.
Cover? lol
As a drummer who used to sit in my basement and essentially taught myself how to play punk rock to half hour of power all of this is such a treat
Amazing! Thank you!
I love this comment. Tre Cool's drumming on Dookie was the same for me.
I was just a boy living in a small town located in the himalayas when a pirated music cd made its way there. No internet. Every kid in town i knew we shared the cd throughout the year😂 That was chuck for you all. No internet, no idea how they looked like. Just pure hunger for music.
Wow - that's cool that we had fans there!
Same here. A group of kids in Morocco having fun listening to Sum 41 :)
The look of joy on your face while watching this is priceless
It's fun!
Stevo, I remember meeting you when I was a kid at Albertsons in Palm Springs. I was so nervous to approach you, but my mom told me to because she knew how much I loved your music. I said hi and talked you for a couple minutes. You were very nice and had a smile on your face. Thank you. You’re an amazing drummer! Love the videos!
Hey that's cool! I used to live right around the corner from there!
I swear to God Chuck was the first album I bought with my own money back when I was 12 years old, what an absolute classic. Thanks Stevo, you are a legend
Awesome - thank you!
For me, Chuck is your best record. It had a special place on my teenager's years. Such a pleasure seeing those drums played that close. Thank you, Stevo.
I couldn't agree more. Hell yea.
I wrote the same thing 😂😂😂
I remember getting the album for christmas in 2004 as a 12 years old.
It was the perfect transition into heavy metal afterwards
Chuck was their Magnum opus.
Chuck was peak yup. I like the stuff before a lot but Chuck was creative, had amazing serious lyrics, musicianship through the roof.
The boy's still got it
Thanks dude
@@stevo32drumsis it first take?
@@stevo32drumsSaw the lads at Download last weekend, was thinking about you big man 🤘
Sum 41 are a big reason I was so obsessed with music throughout my childhood and why I make music today. Thanks Stevo! It's awesome to see you drumming again!
That's great to hear! Thanks for watching! I'm happy we were a positive influence!
Seconded!
This is bringing back so many memories.
"We're All to Blame" will always be one of my favorite Sum41 songs. ❤
Chuck must be the first CD I've ever bought/owned. Except maybe the All Killer no Filler I stole from my brother.
Ha! That's awesome !
Favorite Sum 41 Song!
It's up there for me too!
I would love to see you play 88 or noots on here. Love you always Stevo :)))
Both those songs are great - I will definitely get to them
@@stevo32drums Noots is such an underrated song! I really love the drumming in this one. Such a shame it was never played live and probably never will, since the current set list doesn't include it.
I still dream of you playing with them again, you are the best and only drummer in SUM41, not diminishing the other drummers.
I swear a little deep dive into a band member makes me love the band 1000 times more!! Stevo what a legend!!
Thanks Stevo for putting a big smIle on my face. It bring me back to a time when I bought the Chuck album for the first time.
Awesome thanks for watching!
Stevo, you were the reason my parents bought me a drumkit in grade 6 after I came back from a Sum-41 concert in Saint John. I am still carried by that feeling I had seeing you guys perform when I'm playing with my band at our local digs. a genuine thank to you and great idea starting a channel!
That's amazing! Thank you! You're parents are cool!
Chuck is undoubtedly peak progression for everyone in the band. Lyrics, instrumentals, arrangement, and tone was spot on. The added concept album component puts it over the top. So glad you made this.
I wish we got a Pain for Pleasure album. Those two tracks on Does this Look Infected were badass
I remember being so hyped to catch this on MTV every day. Loved it then, still do!
Just what I needed on a Friday afternoon
Nice!
I miss the old Sum 41! You’re one of my favorite drummers! Also this is one of my favorite songs ever!!!
I got to meet Sum 41 in 2003, and Mr. Stevo, you were by far the coolest and nicest.🎉
this gives me something to look forward to every week, thank you 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Me too! Thanks man!
20yrs on, this song is still a banger, thanks Steve, hilarious video and making me reminisce of my teenage years!
(Side note - Steve is an underrated drummer!)
Stevo, you’re such a wholesome drummer man, also an interesting content producer and obviously, a talented musician. Keep up the good work! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Thanks man! I've never been called wholesome until i started this channel haha
That smile Cone gives to the dancer at 3 minute mark always makes me chuckle
I could tell back in the day that you guys were the ones having the most fun. You always managed to show your sense of humor and it was something I was really able to latch onto and laugh along. Loved the music videos continuing to stay comedic even with the darker nature of chuck as well. Really great memories.
Also welcome to the sausage fest analytics team 😂
Half Hour of Power was the first cd I owned, first drum solo I learnt was 32 ways to die, then toured the world in bands for a decade. You’ve had a bigger effect on 90s kids lives than you’ll ever know. Kudos to you ya fucking legend
Been a Sum 41 fan for most of my life and hearing you talk about the history of the songs is really cool. Seen Sum 41 about 4 times!! Thank you for being one of the bands that inspired me to pick up a guitar and I’m currently learning drums as well!
We are all so grateful that you have opened this channel!!! Now I’ll just be patiently waiting to see you play “Bitter End”!
This channel is the best thing to happen in 2024. Thank you
Thanks! That's high praise!
My wife and I marathoned the majority of Arnold’s filmography on the latter half of our honeymoon. The running man was peak Schwarzenegger.
Love you bro.
Ed Sheeran reminds me of Deryck at the end of that music video. The long hair in the face with the acoustic guitar.
Love you stevo glad your doing great miss seeing you with SUM 41 thank you for all the memories! Please don’t stop making RUclips Videos!!! 😊
Lmao I died when the analytics came on the screen 🤣🤣🤣 these videos are awesome man thank you for making them and keep them coming!!! So good to see you drumming again
Chuck is on regular repeat to drum along too. 88 one of my favourites of all time. Epic album
I will do 88 fo sure !
A rock star who comes across as just bloody lovely!! Thank you Stevo!
One of your best songs!!!!
Im so jelaous of your K Zildjian cymbals. They sound so good 🥁🎼🥁🎼
It's so amazing to see you genuinely love the music video, and how much you're still passionate about it, after all this years. Thanks for your passion and your dedication to make fun videos to watch on RUclips !
Thanks for watching it!
Man...i watched Sum 41 concert live almost 15 years ago in Milan, after Brownsound left the band and Underclass hero came out. Watching you playing your drum live is one of my favourite memory of that period.
After 15 years i'm still playing Sum 41 songs, teaching to my girlfriend's daughter how much you inspired me to play music with passion and, most important, having fun.
P.s. Please, upload a video of you singing Reign in Pain
Thanks man! I will have to listen to the P4P stuff again ! haha it's been a long time!
If I could have 1 wish it would be to see you playing drums for the band again on the Canadian leg of this final tour mainly the Victoria, BC show I pray my wish comes true! 🙏
I’ve never heard anyone talking about Chuck, but I think it is possibly Sum 41’s best album. In high school, we listened to it on repeat with no skips.
My man took us all straight to church. 10/10. Hats off.
Hell Song, No Reason, We're All To Blame were the songs that absolutely kickstarted my love for The Sums the moment I heard them on various random anime music videos, gaming montages, etc, as a 6th grader on RUclips back in like 2007, what a time. Chuck remains arguably my favorite punk record of all time, too. You guys are legends.
That's cool - thanks man!
@@stevo32drums Any time, love this channel, awesome to hear about the past of the band!
The Running Man is one of my all time greatest movies. Idea was ahead of its time, music was ahead of its time. All so so good!
Basically it predicted the reality media hellscape we inhabit today. Too good!
@@stevo32drums 100 percent, mate! Or did they know and were warning us...🤔😂
Loved that Orange County kit BTW. What are your thoughts on them now?
I used to have an OC snare I had custom made exactly the same as Joey Jordison's from the Iowa album. 12x7, 3 vents and I think it was 12 ply. Was an absolute beast and I miss it badly.
Thank you for this video! Half hour of power is one of my favourite album of all time and specially because the drums are amazing to hear.
Thank you for your job!
Thanks!
It's funny that I knew all the words, and I haven't heard it in maybe a decade plus 😂 such a diverse jam. Classic for sure.
Hi Stevo, as you see all of us were missing you all over the past 10 years. Thank you for coming back to us with your ironic, interesting and inspiring video shots! Cheers, mate
Thanks man! I appreciate everyone who takes the time to check it out!
Good drumming, Steve! Sum 41 is one of my favorite bands! Their new final album, Heaven :x: Hell, rocks! I can’t wait to see them for the fourth and last time this October. God bless you, man. ✝️☦️🤟🏾
Thanks! That's awesome! 🙌
"we're all to blame" first sum 41 song I learned to play on drums back in 2005
Amazing !
I've been a fan since I first heard of Sum 41. I'm glad i was able to see you guys in concert with Godsmack and Rob Zombie in Irvine back in 2008
Yeah you go Stevo!
Thanks man!
Loving these. All Killer No Filler is peak nostalgia, but Chuck is the album I go back to most. Would love to see you do one of these for Still Waiting. I love the skit at the start, Will Sasso is a legend!
This song was the trigger of things starting going well on my life when i was a teenager, im greatfull to you, Stevo. Thank you dude!!!!
Very charismatic drummer! I can't see the band without you
I used to watch the music vid all the time back in middle school. The chorus is one of my all time favorites. So cool seeing you react to these Steveo 32!
Dude the “current drummer in my basement” is the new catch phrase!!!
Grew up listening to you man love ya
Thanks man! It's the truth hahaha
Such a great song. What a record! Definitely my favorite Sum record.
Bringing me back to my wonder years, love it!!
Nice !
there’s not many albums i have anticipated more than i did Chuck. and man, when this single and video was released it blew my mind. and then the album itself ended up being my favorite Sum 41 record.
Watching you on Saturday morning is becoming part of my routine, thanks for the fresh, fun, down to earth drum content! Not everythings about how fast your gravity blast is kids!
You a are a kickass drummer stevo, one of the best of your generation. Hope to see you playing in a band again soon. An appearence in the final sum 41 tour would be great too!!
The album chuck was a big part of my life especially for a 12 years old.
Thank you stevo for all this music
This album was one of the ones I cut my drum chops to and learned the fills. An old drum set with taped up paper towel dampers and an old radio cranked as loud as it could go was my childhood 🤙🏽
As a 12 year old kid in Newfoundland, Sum 41 was the reason I wanted to pick up a guitar and be in a band. At 34 I can say the best times of my life were spent playing music with my buds, and it continues to be one of the greatest sources of joy in my life. Thanks for all that Stevo, glad to see you back on the drums! big love from the rock
"This thing" which was Electronic Supersonic is from an Australian comedian back in the day called Santo Cilauro. His "Santo the Magnificent" is a classic.
Happy to see you play again Stevo!! I'm from Spain and I've been listening to Sum 41 since 2005. I hope to see you one day playing Walking Disaster. It's my favorite song and I love the rhythm you made there.
You were always the source of the light hearted entertainment for me in sum. In addition to being great drummer.
One of my favorite and most underrated drummers of the past 25 years. Played this album and DTLI on the drums too many times to count. Thank you 32! Even played Thanks For Nothing for my Junior talent show with a full band!
Hell yeah dude! That's awesome! Thanks for checking out the channel!
@@stevo32drums Of course! You the man. Love your drumming
Chuck is my all time favorite sum 41 album, love these videos!
Cool! Thanks for watching!
Now I can polish some of the parts on this song by learning from the OG drummer. Thanks Stevo, your contribution to punk is appreciated!
Man this song takes me back!!! This was the one of the soundtracks of my childhood in high school.... love the videos dude!
Chuck is the album where when I listened to it at 14 and now listening to it at 34 it still holds up and I hear just how incredible it was. Thanks for doing this Stevo and Happy Fathers Day!
The nostalgia in this channel man, brings me back to the years I would blare all killer no filler and does this look infected.
we didn't fully understood how much we missed you until now, it's great to have you back
All killer no filler was the first album I ever bought when it was released and through my teenage years Sum41 was my go too band but you Stevo were the reason I started playing drums so thank you
Stevo love all the way from south Africa I have been a big fan of yours for many many years even in my drum playing loved learning your playing
Chuck is still in my rotation, maybe my favorite Sum album! Love the behind the scenes info you give!
One of the most influential drummers i've seen in my life, it would be nice a video of your favorite drum parts of sum 41 songs, greetings from Venezuela
I watched you guys at the Savoy Theatre in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia circa 2003-2005. It was absolutely amazing. My first concert.
Love these videos. Watching In Too Deep video on free TV is my earliest memory of the band, it´s a classic
Thank you so much for sharing bits of your story with Sum41, it’s really appreciated
Thanks for watchingn!
I used to look for all the drum covers of this song, now from the master himself, thank you 👌🙂
Best surprise channel of the year for sure. Always loved the videos but never bit on the band. Will dig in. Stevo32 is a great ambassador for drumming and music!
Seriously one of the best songs ever…it’s perfection
😅I forgot all about that song. Loved that video and now I need to watch The Running Man again! Great Channel Steve-0
As a long time Sum 41 fan this is so great to see. I would love to see you do a video on What We're All About. The early 2000's was an interesting era of movies, their soundtracks and the music videos to go along with it. Keep it up! 🤘
Yeah i'll do it ... that one was a bit iffy!
I saw Sum41 last weekend as part of their final tour, this is one of my favourite tracks from that set
Nice!
I love these video's they are informative fun and so full of energy.
When Chuck came out I was in the military and playing in a band with some of the guys in my platoon (I was the bassist) and when I heard chuck for the first time I was blown away and this song I loved from the first listen. Thank you so much for these videos Steveo keep up the great work and keep enjoying yourself.
My favorite song of Sum41 ! Thank you so much for this video and for this emotion ! Love !
One of the best songs of the best album! You are a legend Stevo! Love your positivity.
This is my favourite thing to watch on youtube. I remember the joy I got from watching all The Sums vids when they just got released and Steveo was so fun to watch in those vids. Blown away at the time by Fat Lip and watching a drummer sing, something I had not seen up until that point. I love you man, keep doing this.
Thanks for making me feel old man! Listened to this while i was still in high school and now im 38
Yay it's my favorite sum 41 song! Loved watching it on musiqueplus back in the days!
Love you Stevo. Forever changed my life 21 years ago when I first heard you guys! ❤
