Knitted and crochet things are both called amimono but in Japanese we also have separate words for knitting and crocheting. Kagiami is crochet since kagi meaning key and boami meaning knit bc bo means sticks. But often people just say amimono instead of being specific.

Auto translate via photo is worse for some reason. It would be interesting to see how it translates if you select the text the paste it into translate. Interesting concept though! Great job on the crocheting :)
Omg I got this exact same one and don’t know how to do it 😭😭 I can read Japanese but I am very beginner level in crochet and I’m only used to US terms so far so it’s been challenging 💔 any tips? 😿
