ABOUT THIS GAME
Armored Brigade is a real-time tactical wargame, focusing on realism and playability. The game has drawn inspiration from classics such as Close Combat, Steel Panthers and Flashpoint Campaigns: Red Storm.
In Armored Brigade the Cold War has turned hot, and Europe is once again torn apart by conflict. An "Iron Curtain" divides the Western Powers gathered together under the NATO banner from the Soviet Union and its Warsaw Pact Allies.
Take command of the deadliest mechanized formations available during an arc of time spanning from the Kennedy-Chrušcev confrontation to the final years, and fight your opponents in large and detailed maps all across Europe.
Large maps, modelled upon real terrain make each battle a true test of wits. Weather and visibility all play a role and with several munition types, including air to air combat and artillery, no battle will be the same. Exciting and challenging tank warfare only adds to the level of realism.
There is a massive spike when I can in Air Strikes. This leads me to believe people are trying to figure out how I called them in. I have a video on Close Air Support: ruclips.net/video/PAbTqvW12oc/видео.html
My left ear is loving this tutorial.
Sorry! Obs be killing me sometimes.
yes, please post more of armored brigade!
Again a great video. Can you please explain in a few words the difference between a hard and a soft engagement range ? Many thanks.
If I remember correctly Hard: Tanks/vehicles Soft: infantry. It isn't super broken down in the manual.
Excellent video, and well explained, thank you!
Not played Armored Brigade for a while but I absolutely love it, it's a magnificent game. Think I'm gonna break it out again.
I think the game is insanely fun especially when generating your own missions. It is also so simple to play and learn. Personally, I enjoy being able to create and "role-play."
Totally agree. There's a lot to it, it's a very neat package. I really think the maps, and the way you can create a playfield from them are a stand out feature of the game too, I've not seen anything like that before and it's just so good!
Please do a tutorial on heights,I find the contour lines difficult to see and no idea why the height map changes color or what the colors mean.
This one intrigues me but I didn't ever get Steel Division 1 or 2 because I hate it when you're zoomed out the whole time watching 'squares' attack each other. Is this like that or do you spend much time 'down low'?
This game is "square" on "square" violence. However, you can change them to be pixelated units. It may be a mod. I really don't know how to. I never tried. However. I have seen it in streams. You can also zoom in and see them. The game may still be on sale on the Slith site. I have never played the campaign. I create my own battles and missions.
Urban warfare tutorial? Please :-)
