Preston Parkrun 09/09/2023

Today, I ran the Preston Parkrun. I came 22nd and did it in the time 21:02, This is my 39th tourist run and overall 190th Parkrun.
I have been putting off this run for awhile. I had a great time. Everyone were really friendly.

What a gorgeous parkrun! Love that park! I'm down in the South-East, but one day, I shall book a weekend away in Preston and have a crack at it! Why not, indeed! Thank you, Mark, for showing us!

Been looking for a decent quality video of this for ages. The u-turn under the railway bridge is a temporary diversion due to flood wall construction. Normally you would go under the bridge and turn left for a fast descent back to the river.

A good run Mark, considering how much time you lost at the beginning! Nice course.

Yeah, I did have to catch up, but that's me though. Sometimes I might think I need to hang back for the faster and better runners and sometimes I feel like "I've got this" I've always thought that I'm only a D standard or at best a C standard runner. So I kind of underestimate myself.

How difficult did you find running Preston? I've only ever done that particular Park Run?
