Whoah, I love their voices. This is officially one of my favorite versions of this song. And the whole setup with the lamps and that bright light that looks like dusty sunlight is just beautiful. That one violinist with the glasses really caught my eye in one moment. And the drum kit and drummer with light streaming down on him. It's like strategically cluttered and old looking but in a good way. Reminds you of a dimly lit old fashioned pub but the lamps give it a touch of femininity in a very antique way. Like, you expect lace trimming on the lamps but a bar with a waist-coated bartender in the corner. Basically, IT'S SO FREAKING PRETTY.

The voice of Citizen Shade is unique!
I fell in love with the original song, and then I fell in love with this cover. I listen to it all the time.
All these covers of "7 years" don't even come close to captivating the emotions of the original.
No one can compete with Lukas Graham. These youtube covers have so many added effects, auto-tune etc. When lukas sings his songs live, they sound almost identical to recorded version, in some cases even better.
However I am very happy to see the speed at which his music spreading throughout the world and I am very glad to see the boys succeed. But people, please enjoy the original and read up on Lukas' history. That will give his songs a whole other perspective.
He makes the most stellar covers on RUclips ;)
