The Hercules soundtrack is probably Disney's most underrated, has some Amazing songs!

I used to play piano with my friend like this all the time and this was our favorite Disney song of all time. Before she passed she wanted to play your version of the song that ypu both composed but we never got the chance so when I hear this song now I think of her and its beautiful. This was done so well.

One of my favorite Disney films as a kid - so inspired by all those heroic qualities: courage, perseverance, sense of duty. Cheers to the heroes who live all around us, and the ones hidden inside of ourselves!
OK, besides the fact that this is the best cover of this song, let's mention that Kurt is playing the drum, tambourine, and piano at the SAME TIME! Respect to that!
Fun fact: Going the distance is a term in fighting (like boxing) for going through the whole fight. Not about winning or losing just seeing the entire thing through.

Well the lyrics do kinda say that anyway...it's about doing all that you can, going as far as you need to, never giving up no matter what, knowing that there will be those cheering you own and when you do finally make it to the end there will be those waiting for you.

It is just amazing how a cover can transmit so many feels, and I'm not talking about it brought me Hercules memories from the childhood. I'm talking about the emotion they put when they play it, all the crescendos and decrescendos they do, they acting, it is just amazing. Sometimes a cover brings out more feelings than an original song, and that is maybe the reason why Kurt is my favorite artist. I play violin, I hope to play like this some day.

I love how expressive Kurt is when playing. You can see how much he enjoys what he does, the music moves through his whole body and he throws himself into it. Plus the fact that he can play three instruments at once is amazing, if you're someone who plays some kind of musical instrument, you know how much you must focus when you play. I also love the simpler, more worn piano he plays on and the distinction between the two. Kurt with a more playful feel and Shawn with a rather elegant feel.
