Let's just hope they're not bringing him back. When you kill something, it should stay FUCKING DEAD (I had a terrible experience with Vampire lords in Heroes of Might & Magic, so please excuse 😅)

I can’t hear it. I’m trying to but I can’t. The Dies Irae oscillates back and forth as it descends and to me that’s a key characteristic of it. I’m actually going to release a video on Wednesday that demonstrated how I think Kiner created this theme, but can you convince me of the Dies Irae in the meantime because you’ve really peaked my curiosity.
Oh wait. I think you’re referring to the beginning. That was just my way of building into it instead writing out the entire scene. It is in the texture of the orchestra prior to Tech dangling, but this is my own arrangement (which I apparently quoted it Dies Irae accidentally for).
I fucking love this man good job and keep up the good work this theme is on par with Padmes funeral and anakin vs obiwan hope they make more music like this
Thanks! I hope so too. I was a little bummed that we didn’t get anything quite as powerful throwout Ahsoka. But then again, nothing hit this level of tragedy in the show…yet.
I got it! the first couple of notes remind me of the theme from Captain America: Civil War. I kept thinking it sounded kinda familiar. Also somewhat similar themes
@@starwarsmusicanalysis It's sad, but it would've been kinda... Predictable if he came back. And yeah, of course he could've survived, but why not just let a character stay dead. We all know how bringing back a dead character in the sequels worked... It didn't.
The channel has undeservedly few subscribers. But in this particular video the sound changes are too sudden. At 38 seconds I almost went deaf, although the sound in Windows is at 45%. The same thing happens with the Crosshair theme. Although I love dramatic transitions, this was too much.
Thank you for bringing this up. I’ll keep this in mind going forward. Sometimes people have asked for the volume to be brought up to hear examples. I’ll keep working to find that happy medium.
This moment genuinely shocked me, because I didn’t think Disney was brave enough to kill tech off. This theme fits my emotions quite well.
The second I heard that massive minor chord in the brass, I had written Tech off but yeah. It was still surprising for them to do it.

As it should. Haha

It’s criminal how underrated this is
I agree. I think the animated content always become underrated but people were definitely loving this track when it came out.
This theme still squeezes my hearth each time I hear it. It takes courage to make an arrangement of this theme.
For real. My main goal is to always document but I still want to make them well. I hope I at least got close.🤞🏻
This is so version is so moving., makes the moment hit so much harder.
Thank you! I’m glad you like it!
Just realised that they used Dies Irae. I'm sad now.

“Since when do we follow orders”
I can’t imagine being Wrecker in that moment, having to look Tech in the eyes knowing he was helpless to save him.
@@starwarsmusicanalysis not to mention he has a fear of heights and tech fell to his death
@@starwarsmusicanalysis Even though he was wearing a helmet, you could still see Wrecker's face in that moment. Awesome cover!
Yeah. Also when he’s carrying Omega later. Poor Wrecker. He’s definitely going to blow some things up in season 3.
Do it
Thank you this is great

6:27

I totally agree. Still an absolutely traumatizing death, even for an adult.
