- In this step-by-step tutorial, learn how you can integrate live camera feeds directly into your slides with the cameo feature in PowerPoint for Windows.
Cameo in PowerPoint enables you to seamlessly embed live camera feeds into your slides as part of your presentation. You can use this feature to create a more immersive experience for your audience. It can also help you be more prepared for your live presentation (such as presenting in Teams, Zoom) or even when recording your presentation in PowerPoint.
Cameo gives you full control of live camera feeds in PowerPoint. Just like any other image, you can move, resize, crop, and apply transitions or styles to the camera feed. You can also use Designer in PowerPoint to enhance the look of your slides that use cameo.

is there any way to add that to the title or to your video at the beginning? Like a caveat/disclaimer? I went and spent 15 minutes trying to find this and troubleshoot because I don't normally come to the comments.
Unfortunately a friend's cameo didn't save and now it's impossible to get back

Glad to see that Microsoft brought this feature to PowerPoint after Apple introduced it to Keynote a few months back. Does it also work for the mobile versions of PowerPoint?

In the company where I work there are a lot of restrictions towards IT. Would it require additional installations, or will the new features be available due to credentials as an Office insider?
Regarding Cameo, would it be possible to switch from share camera recording to share desktop recording?
I would like the opputunity to make a presentation where i show my collegues how to use different applications.
Good feature. I won't use it as I have the atem mini extreme pro. It's good to know because when travelling this can replace the atem.

Can you only blur background while using the sharing s/w (like Teams, Zoom, etc.)? I can't find how to blur the camera background in PowerPoint itself. I only have the web cam on my laptop (no ext cameras)and have no plans to record the presentation at this time. Thanks!
